You have made a number of unsourced changes to Phil Read's article. It is normal when contributing changes to add reliable sources to support the prose you added.
I wrote most of the page, and I am particularly interested in the piece you added: "a very special production Yamaha developed under the direction of the Belgian/Dutch, Ferry Brouwer with twin disc brakes, improved horsepower and aerodynamics together with help from Eric Cheney (frame), Helmut Fath (Dry Clutch) and Rod Quaife (six speed transmission)." Where did you obtain this information from, please? I am aware of the bike, have an accredited sources for it (but have not got around to it) and I am aware of one large image (taken at the time) online, but have never seen any mention of Ferry Brouwer, Rod Quaife, improved horsepower and aerodynamics, and Helmut Fath (Dry Clutch). Similarly, you state Read lives in Guernsey, whereas his Facebook page states Canterbury, Kent?

I had corrected this to "Dutch" (He was born in the Hague) Ferry Brouwer himself is the source of the above information both in direct interview with myself and from his biography "That Boy". Possibly Phil Read has residences in both Guernsey and Canterbury. I will ask. Trevor Heath
- Thanks - I'm not challenging Belgian/Dutch, just the source of information. It's not acceptable for Wikipedia - word-of-mouth is not a reliable source, neither is the book as it's not clear which is which. I do know the name Ferry Brouwer very vaguely, but I drifted 'off' bikes during the early 1970s, not really returning until about 1977. I have more info than I implied on this, the engine was rubber-mounted for one thing, (part of the frame design) and the discs were all from the same originator. Ferry Brouwer should know this and should be able to name the designer and the two famous individuals he worked for as a consultant engineer. I've got so much to do, it's had to take a back seat, as have many other things on Wikipedia. Really, we don't need that level of information for Phil Read's biography as it's not a technical article, which is one reason I haven't added it. image.
