Disruptive editing[edit]

Please do not use accusations like "assassinated by Turkey" as it may be considered an insult to a whole nation. For that reason I reverted your recent edit on Turkish Cypriots as "vandalism". Please contribute positively to this collective effort of encyclopedia making. --E4024 (talk) 09:05, 11 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

TremoloKid's edit was hardly WP:Vandalism. It could be a WP:POV or WP:RS issue, but it is not vandalism and by no means disruptive. We have a category called Category:People executed by Turkey. A more constructive approach would have been to suggest alternative wordings to TremoloKid, who is a new editor, for example "assassinated by Turkish intelligence service", "killed by Turkish armed forces", etc., depending on what is factually correct and verifiable. --Soman (talk) 09:22, 11 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
E4024, Your argument is really weak and wrong about this case. And as I can see on your page you are Turkish and which is understandable that you are trying to use Wikipedia with your nationalist ideology. "Republic of Turkey" can't considered as a whole "Turkish" nation. Turkey is country and governments of countries are responsible from this kind of situations. You can't consider one country name as a whole nation (which is your nation) and delete Wikipedia editors edits. Also as you know when we use Wikipedia we need to edit things which has sources (like this one: http://www.zcommunications.org/a-murdered-turkish-cypriot-columnist-by-eser-keskiner) There were several cases were open against Turkey about this assasination and Turkey charged about them.
Here is the official text of the ECHR sentence on the case. If your reading of English is as good as your writing you may read that the Court rejected the claim (no violation of the European Convention on Human Rights, considering the said killing). The sentence has been given 7 years ago, but you are basing your claims on older newspaper claims, why? Do you have a special interest in showing Turkey as "assassin"? That is exactly what I was trying to say. If you were really interested in the human rights of Turkish Cypriots you would be writing about the tragic Bloody Christmas, where hundreds of Turkish Cypriots were killed within scope of the infamous Akritas plan. (An invitation to discuss is in the talk page of the proposed article. So interested in Turkish Cypriots but maybe you did not see it.) Now come and accuse me of personal attack for showing your real intentions. BTW the European Court of Human Rights sentence on the case is the first document that comes in a Google search when you look for "Adali vs Turkey" case. I am accusing you of ignoring the Court sentence for malice. This clear. --E4024 (talk) 19:52, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
1. You changed my edit again in Turkish Cypriot page which I wrote "assassinated by Turkish Revenge Brigade instead of "Turkey" without any reason. Again you can find enough infos about it even in organisations Wikipedia article (with source) and internet (like this: http://www.cumhuriyetarsivi.com/katalog/192/sayfa/1996/7/9/3.xhtml). As you can read even Turkish Revenge Brigade admit about they killed him. 2. I'm not here with interest like human right of any nation etc. Im here for edit articles objectively with using proper sources (especialy aricles about Cyprus and Turkish Cypriots which abuse everytime from Turks. Also articles about Greeks and Armenians) 3. Again in your second writing above we can see easyly you using Wikipedia for your nationalist ideology which shouldnt allowed in here (example: If you were really interested in the human rights of Turkish Cypriots you would be writing about the tragic Bloody Christmas, where hundreds of Turkish Cypriots were killed within scope of the infamous Akritas plan) 4. Im changing "assassinated by Turkey" to "assassinated by Turkish Revenge Brigade" again until you explain your puropse to change it.

It's only your second day here, and you've already found yourself embroiled in one of Wikipedia's more challenging subjects to edit. In subjects where many participants are trying hard to be neutral despite strong political, cultural, social, or religious division, it's extra-important to be very polite to everyone and to only add information for which there are undisputably reliable sources. It's also important, in cases of disagreement, to discuss disputed facts on the article's talk page, and wait until there is a clear consensus before editing. Repeatedly making the same change before consensus is reached is against the rules, and can get a user blocked! As a new user, I'm guessing you didn't know about discussing changes on the talk page, so I started a conversation on your behalf here. Now you can see whether other users agree with you that this fact has been verified by the best sources available, and make your case for making this change. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 22:34, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for infos. Yes Im new and Im trying to learn eveything fastest possible. I recently I changed article again source that Turkish Revenge Brigade organisation admited they killed Kutlu Adali. If the article needs more source about it in Turkish or English I can find easly.

August 2012[edit]

Your recent editing history at Turkish Cypriots shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for violation of WP:3RR; logging out to edit anonymously does not exempt you from this rule. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
