Hello, thanks for your efforts, though I'm a little confused in this case, because the edit I made that you have reverted was not in fact introducing any new information or claims, but actually doing the opposite by removing claims that were unsupported by citations (and were, in fact, strongly editorial and in violation of NPOV). I'm still a very new Wikipedian and so I would appreciate any help I can get to do all of this better. In the meantime, I believe your reversion was in error, though I'm now a bit intimidated to revert your reversion. Can you offer any clarification or assistance? Hi TomTuohy! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Robert Barnes (attorney) several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Robert Barnes (attorney), please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Thank you! I'm very appreciative of the lesson on edit warring, I figured something like that would be a concern. However, I must object to the categorization that I reverted the article "several times" - I only did so one time, which as I understand is not a violation of the edit warring policy or any other. And in this particular case, the reasoning for the reversion is very clear, and I happily backed it up later with an additional citation. With that said, I have now read and understand fully that even a wholly correct edit reversion can still be considered edit warring, and so I will be sure to continue to avoid doing anything of the sort.

If you could, I would be very grateful if you might edit your remark, above, to better reflect actual events, so that I might be accountable only for those mistakes that I have actually done, and not any that might merely be a hypothetical feared outcome for the future!
