A tag has been placed on List of famous Spanish Legionnaries, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Moreover, please add more verifiable sources, not only 3rd party sources. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. MelanieN (talk) 16:05, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Tom991! Sorry for the "canned" nature of the above notice. What is actually going on is that I have merged the content of that brief "List" article into the article Spanish Legion, and I am now suggesting the the "List" article be deleted. If you don't agree, feel free to say so at the article or at my talk page. --MelanieN (talk) 16:05, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Never mind; speedy deletion was declined "to preserve the article's history". --MelanieN (talk) 17:55, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 17:18, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Tom991. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Largest fire department".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Largest fire department}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 21:12, 21 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Signatures[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

content requires sources[edit]

I keep deleting it because 1) you have not provided any reliably published sources that support the claim as you are required to do for content that has been challenged 2) even with sources, it is trivial and serving primarily as an advertisement. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 01:05, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 01:51, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia.

Revert yourself or provide a source. WP:BURDEN is basic policy- the editor wishing to restore content MUST provide a reliably published sourceand your personal experience is not. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 01:59, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I added a question on TRPoD talk page about original deletion. Additionally, if I come up with sources, I want to counter that the topic is not trivial and not an advertisement - the company is a historically important part of town, and the bushes are a local landmark (citation needed). Perhaps the section needs lengthening, but the topic itself isn't trivial. goodeye (talk) 15:04, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Organization of the New York City Fire Department. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. I notice this is not the first time you have received warnings. Be aware that if you revert this edit again, it will be considered warring. The material that I have removed has a precedence for being removed. If you feel it has a place on page, then feel free to start a discussion on the talk page. Do not simply revert a justified edit. Hello, Tom991. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, USS Utah (SSN-801), for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 08:39, 25 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
