Identification of dyslexia?[edit]

Hi Timothy! I noticed your comment on the dyslexia article—thanks for it, by the way—and realized you might be able to help find an answer I've been wondering about.

Many of the dyslexia articles mention that it was first identified by Oswald Berkhan. I haven't found any in-depth sources that confirm this—just ones that immediately go on to say that Rudolf Berlin coined the term. The sentence structures in these sources and the Wikipedia articles are very similar, so I'd like to confirm the claim's veracity.

The primary source that's cited throughout the articles is in German. If you get anything out of a quick look at it, it'd be a big help!

Thank you for your feedback. I would call you helpful, not rude. Thank you for pointing out the broken hyperlink, which I have now repaired. The first 'which' is perfectly correct and normal English, though this usage is more common in British than American English, where 'that' is more common. The variant of English with which you are most familiar influences which you find preferable. I understand why you think 'that' would be better than 'which', but I am happy to write in my own idiolect on my own user talk page.
