Welcome![edit]

Tim, welcome to Wikipedia! I know you are not that new and have already had a hand in editing several articles, but I still wanted to say hello! :)

I noticed on User:Nightstallion's talk page that you had copied is source code to customize for your own user page, and were having a bit of difficulty making it look just right. Well, Nightstallion is a busy fellow, so I took it upon myself to help you out in this area. Please take a look at your userpage and let me know what you think!

Just a few days before I noticed you used his code, I had adopted the same code from his page and used it on my own because its just so cool. :)

On your page, I made a few changes to what you had already started, and took a wee bit of artistic license (I hope you don't mind!) The changes include alphabatizing all lists (sorry I'm an anal and have OCD), adding a special picture <grin>, a Wikipedia:Babel section, as well as correcting a few grammar/typing errors and of course fixing the broken code. I hope you do not mind.

Regarding the Babel section, I just took my best guess that your native language was British English, judging from where you were born and now live. If this is incorrect, please forgive me and I will gladly remove it or change it to the correct language - whichever you prefer. I also added this "blue code" to your talk page as it appears on Nightstallion's and mine :)

I also went ahead and created User:Tim_teddybear/linkage for you to use on all of your userpages and subpages. The link bar includes 2 subpages that many users create but you have not yet done so - that is why they appear to be broken links. If you wish to create personal sandbox or to do list subpages, the links are already provided in the link bar, if you do not wish to create them and want them removed from the bar, let me know and I will do so. If there are any subpages you have that I don't know about, pages which you would like to include in the link bar, just let me know and I'll be happy to add those as well.

Please let me know what you think! Have a great day, --Naha|(talk) 04:34, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cheers Dude. I shall look for a specific bear picture which I like...User:Tim_teddybear|(talk) 15:34, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm glad you like the page! Have fun :) --Naha|(talk) 19:19, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use[edit]

Sorry, your teddy bear picture does not qualify as fair use for userspace, and has been removed. Thanks -- Samir धर्म 07:32, 13 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image source problem with Image:406625494 m.jpg[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:406625494 m.jpg. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 10:53, 6 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:V festivallgoo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:V festivallgoo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 05:51, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article Dirty Little Faces, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
