Recent edit to Laissez-faire[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Laissez-faire, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Well, I merely corrected an incorrect translation. I altered nothing of substance beyond that. Does one need a more reliable source for that than simply being a native French speaker? And in any case, the original translation certainly didn't lay any greater claim to correctness; it merely linked to a French-English dictionary, taking no account of the idiomatic rather than literal meaning. It seems to me that if you're going to remove my edit, you should remove the original (inaccurate and unsupported) sentence as well.al-Howayek (talk) 17:24, 31 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
