November 2012[edit]

Hello, I'm Shrikanthv. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added to the page Mudrarakshasa, because it seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. stop adding your personnel blog to many hinduism related articles as a source as blogs do not ammount to good reference or source in wiki Shrikanthv (talk) 09:05, 20 November 2012 (UTC) your blog link below https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups=#!topic/bvparishat/TL6hPE7kBr0 Shrikanthv (talk) 09:05, 20 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for November 29[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ramachandra Dattatrya Ranade, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bijapur (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Opening phrase[edit]

Hallo, I came across Qayem Chandpuri while stub-sorting. Please remember to start any new article with a phrase along the lines of "Xxxx (dates) was a yyyyy", which tells us why this person is notable and should be in the encyclopedia. If someone is searching on Google or in Wikipedia's search, it will usually be this first phrase which they see, and it is important that it tells them something important about the person, rather than who their parents were etc. I've modified a few of your recent articles to add "was an Indian poet" - perhaps it should have been "was an Indian poet writing in Urdu". Thanks. PamD 06:52, 25 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
