Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Concerning your recent edits to Shellac and Gasoline, per the Wikipedia:Manual of style, "The English Wikipedia does not prefer any major national variety of the language. No variety is more correct than another. Editors should recognize that the differences between the varieties are superficial." Further, adding your personal opinion regarding nationalistic variations of writing into an article will consistently cause your edits to be reverted as vandalism. Thanks, and happy editing! -Verdatum (talk) 20:46, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your joke edits[edit]

Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and the articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you can write practically anything you want.
