To answer your question though, the batteries from hybrids (and all other cars) get almost universally recycled with all parts being reused. HYBRID FUEL CONSUMPTION[edit]

I think there should be an explanation of how both fuel consumption and emission reduction will increas. There is a little mentioned but not in detail about "regenerative braking" which i have a good amount of information on. There should also be a list of all the problems with hybrid vehicles, because some of them do not switch back and forth from engine to battery as efficient as they should. And also, should write about the advantages of a complete battery versus hybrid and the distance you can travel, versus the expensive of driving

I saw a lot of information regarding the type of fules used by different hybrid vehicles, but no where can I really find a detailed information on how a hybrid actually works to better our gas consumption and help our environment.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF BATTERIES[edit]

There is little really describing the negatives of hybrid car batteries. I've read a lot about how many batteries are being thrown into the garabge dumps and how severe of an impact that can have on our health and environment, raising the question once again, is it worth better gas and emissions to solve the problem with creating another problem.
