Tagging pages for CSD too fast

Hi, SunDawn! I noticed you tagged this page with an A7 tag a minute after its creation. According to WP:NPP#Care, generally, we should not tag pages that are not attack pages, copyvios, vandalism, or pure nonsense until at least 15 minutes after its creation. I have added a {{hasty}} tag to let the editor finish the article if they are going to finish it. Feel free to revert me if you think it is not necessary or leave me a message.

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! — 3PPYB6TALKCONTRIBS — 01:09, 29 June 2022 (UTC)

No problem! I think I made it too hastily as well. Thank you for your correction. ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 23:19, 30 June 2022 (UTC)

Alex Fergusson

I have no idea why Sun Dawn has apparently removed my statement that the above moved to Germany and fathered twin sons. If you didn't do this I apologise but that's what it seems to say. I don't know how to contact Sun Dawn. I was a friend of Alex since age 15 and my real name is Sandy Robertson so I know what I posted is true as I had the information from Alex's family a decade ago when I was back in our home town of Renfrew. Sandy crowley (talk) 22:11, 5 July 2022 (UTC)

Hello Sandy crowley hopefully your days are great! I have checked my reverts and your contributions in Alex Fergusson (musician) and it turned out that the materials you are adding is unsourced. While the materials you add might be factually correct, Wikipedia guidelines stipulates that any materials added must be verifiable - this means that references to reliable sources must be provided. Reliable sources includes books, news sites, and such. If you can't provide reliable sources, the material can't be added into the article, even if it is factually correct. If you have any more questions, please do ask! Thank you! ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 01:22, 6 July 2022 (UTC)

Slow down a little!

I saw you moved this page to draftspace only 1 minute after it’s creation. The article may have been in the process of being created. I know I am still trying to get the hang of DRAFTIFYing pages, but that is a bit too quick. There was a warning [1] against moving pages for at least 15 minutes after creation. Just saying don’t be too zealous with drafts, and wait at least 15 minutes. Thank you CollectiveSolidarity (talk) 15:26, 6 July 2022 (UTC)

Apologies, my mistake. What do you think is the best remedy to the situation? Do you think I should move it back to the mainspace for a while, then place it into draft again if there is no development in progress? ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 15:35, 6 July 2022 (UTC)
If the author doesn’t object, I don’t think you need to move it back. The article certainly fell under the criteria for draftification, but I would wait a little longer next time to give time for the creator to improve it. In the revision I linked, there is a user script linked at the bottom of the page that tells you how long a page has been uploaded to mainspace. It could help you determine if you need to wait a little longer before drafting. Cheers! CollectiveSolidarity (talk) 15:49, 6 July 2022 (UTC)

Ways to improve Fast Action Response

Hello, SunDawn,

Thank you for creating Fast Action Response.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Thanks! You could place a project tag on the talk page so the article 'belongs'!

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Alexandermcnabb}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Alexandermcnabb (talk) 09:45, 7 July 2022 (UTC)

Hello! Thanks for the review. I have placed the project tag and I have fixed the orphan issue. Could you please review the article again and mark it as reviewed if you found it satisfactory? Thank you! ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 09:55, 7 July 2022 (UTC)

Secction

Hello!
I agree and I like your last edition on 2022 Concacaf U-20 Championship, but I have a suggestion: That information could be better seen in the section below, or put a tag like {{notelist or {{{1}}} (I'm not an expert in those tools) but it might help a bit. Can this example work?:[a] (a letter above).
THANK YOU! :D Rey1996ss (talk) 15:18, 8 July 2022 (UTC)

I agreed, I will try to work it out later. Have a good day! ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 15:53, 8 July 2022 (UTC)
Oh thank you! I will try to work it as well but i newcomer in that and i make some mistakes sometimes.
Thank you again! Rey1996ss (talk) 18:54, 8 July 2022 (UTC)

Speedy deletion contested: Draft:Kepler Interactive

Hello SunDawn. I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of Draft:Kepler Interactive, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: WP:A7 should only be used for mainspace articles. Thank you. BangJan1999 15:21, 12 July 2022 (UTC)

Yes, but it is not my intention to tag the draft with A7. I think when I opened the article it is still in the mainspace, but then someone moved it to the draft. Then I click speedy deletion on the Page Curation toolbar, thinking it is still on mainspace while someone had moved it into draftspace. That is why after the tag I am presented with the article in draftspace instead of the article in mainspace. Thanks. ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 15:27, 12 July 2022 (UTC)

Created a page about a current event

Hey, I created a page about a current event (Draft:2022 Port-au-Prince gang battles), and I am unsure how to get it reviewed as a current event instead of the normal article submissions. Considering you are a moderator for new article submissions, I was wondering if you could help? Jebiguess (talk) 22:38, 19 July 2022 (UTC)

I noticed you help with new page curation

Thank you. I am doing more of that myself recently. In some recent reviews I noticed you marked several team season articles as reviewed but didn't note the pages had zero independent secondary reliable sources applied. Just because the team is notable and the team season is also likely notable, doesn't license page creators to make new submissions which don't (at the time of review) meet GNG. For my part, I wouldn't necessarily reject such a submission, but I would definitely tag the page as unsourced and include this in my note to the author. BusterD (talk) 04:35, 25 July 2022 (UTC)

I agreed with your advice - the tag to request more reliable sources is warranted. Thank you for your advice and have a good day! ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 07:58, 25 July 2022 (UTC)
Thank you for your new page curation work! Sorry if I came across as nitpicky but such review is even more helpful when we're somewhat blunt with feedback. If I can ever be of assistance, feel invited to call on me. BusterD (talk) 13:31, 25 July 2022 (UTC)

Phi III, Greater Noida

Hi! What did you think about the notability of Phi III, Greater Noida, which you marked as reviewed? I'm not seeing a pass of WP:GEOLAND here, as it's apparently just a division for stuff like maintenance. Ovinus (talk) 03:09, 30 July 2022 (UTC)

I think I agreed with your assessment. Thank you. ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 15:39, 30 July 2022 (UTC)
