Revert warning[edit]

Hello Subwayatrain, you gave me an edit-war-warning. I am well aware of the rules of the English Wikipedia (my main work in on the German version), and i am a bit surprised you warned me. The edits of User:Gg spoker (who, by the way, edited no other articles except for Álvaro_Noboa) are clear, pure POV (please read the last two paragraphs of the introduction, for example). I will try and engage in discussion anyway now, as Gg spoker's edits persist. Best Regards, --lomis (talk) 08:26, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

December 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Jessica Morris, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. - SummerPhD (talk) 17:22, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The neutrality of this article was questioned by you some time ago. The article has been revised to remove non-factual statements. There are few references to him prior to his death. As the article states, he worked behind the scenes and avoided the spotlight. Please take another look and let me know. --Mgrē@sŏn 13:08, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:RobertELeeJacksonvilleFlorida.svg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:RobertELeeJacksonvilleFlorida.svg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude2 (talk) 06:11, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Yes, it looks like someone uploaded a better quality version of that image for the page. The version I uploaded was intentionally blurry so it would be "Low Quality" and be more acceptable as Fair Use (It was an SVG). I'm just wondering if the new image that replaced the one I uploaded is okay. If someone would, please take a look at the new version that replaced the version I put up. If the new image that replaced the one I uploaded is acceptable (in terms of meeting Fair Use requirements), then I have no objections to removing my version. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
