1915 FA Cup Final

SteveO Thanks for your info about the fancy programmes handed out to the players at the cup final. When I have finished the Chelsea player stubs I'll work it into the text. One question which you may be able to help with: On the Chelsea History page the first goal in the 1915 cup final is blamed on a mistake by Molyneux but in the Guardian report and I quote "He did many fine things in the match and in the case of the three goals scored he was quite helpless" Do you have a source for for his "mistake" It would be great to include a couple of other sources Thanks Gmac101 (talk) 14:04, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

Great Chelsea Flickr images

As one of the main people that Chelsea to FA status, I thought you might be interested to know that while casually searching, I found a really great Flickr user, with a load of Chelsea related images. All of which are free use. On a quick run through I got an image for the Carling Cup Final, Essien, Steve Clarke, Hilario and a face on image of Frank Lampard. Yeah, as said, the are all Creative Commons 2.0, which is free to use on here. And the image taker will have chosen that license, so he shouldn't have a problem with it. Gran² 20:11, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

RE: Chelsea F.C. by season

I created the Chelsea F.C. by season article as it links to Chelsea season reviews. The Chelsea F.C. seasons page links to season reviews in English football, and not specifically focusing on Chelsea, when you click on a year.

So can I change the link to a season review, if available, for a particular year on the Chelsea F.C. seasons page?

It would be far more helpful to add links to those many university league tables to the actual Glasgow Caledonian article, rather than one of its ex-students. Then an interested reader can decide for themselves whether it is "one of Scotland's worst universities". SteveO 18:03, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

Copyrighted fixtures

The Barclays Premier League could be copyrighted because belongs to Barclays. The others I doubt. So, until there is a source telling any other is copyrighted, it could be used. One question, do you have a source for Barclays Premier League be copyrighted? Please, I'd like to see it. It's clear that the fixture is copyrighted. The table does not seem to be copyrighted. Also the results appear not to be copyrighted. So, it's possible to publish the matches after they are played. Do you know anything about that?--ClaudioMB 03:30, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

Australian Open (tennis)

Hello. You've asked why Borg didn't enter the Australian Open after 1974. I've made some modifications in the Australian Open article (tennis) to explain that this tournament became really important and deserved the "Grand Slam tournament" only in 1969, 1971 and from 1983 (see paragraph "History"). The incident with the doorman is covered above, but all of the other claims were unsourced. Per Wikipedia's policy on biographies of living people, all negative, unsourced material should be removed immediately. Pablo García

I know there is more than one person with this name, but I didn't "dissapeared" the 'disambiguation and musician pages' if you go to Pablo García you will see the references to Pablo García (footballer), and Juan Pablo García. I did it to all three pages, so Pablo García would be a meaningless 'desambiguation page'. Please put it in the order it was, or there will be a page 'in vain'. Citation requested

Hi Steve, I wonder if you could help me again please. "Jimbo on line" has requested a source for the Reg Burr qoute in the Millwall article. It's a very well known quote, because Burr was one of the few chairman to ever stick up for the ordinary decent Millwall fans. I have a VHS tape of him saying it in a Channel 4 documentary in 1989, is it at all possible to use this as a source, and if so, will you please tell me how to do it? Only Fools and Horses image

Hi. I recently tried to upload a higher quality screenshot (a .png of the same resolution) of the following image: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Only_fools_original_cast.jpg as requested.

Hi. Thanks for your speedy reply! I attempted the upload twice, with "Only_fools_original_cast.png" and "Only_fools_original_cast_2.png". The problem I had with both attempts was that the text/code that I wanted to appear in the "Summary" section also appears in the "Comment" section under "File history"! How can I stop this from happening?

I entered everything in the box that says "Summary (author, source, URL, fair use rationale if applicable, extra tags, etc.):" when uploading the image. I'm assuming this was the wrong thing to do?
