Wikidata[edit]

Wikidata has been deployed to the English Wikipedia. Wikidata manages interwiki links on a separate project on pages such as this.

You are receiving this as you have recently been reverting the bots that have been managing this migration. Removal of interwiki links on a page linked to a wikidata item that contains the links is not vandalism.

If you have any questions regarding wikidata please use the talk page Wikipedia talk:Wikidata. ·Add§hore· Talk To Me! 03:04, 6 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't get this moving interwiki links thing.[edit]

Some pages don't have their interwiki links moved while some do... and apparently people don't like moving interwiki links. Why are some articles' interwiki links left alone? Steeldragon7 (talk) 16:05, 6 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wikidata can't handle some m:Interwiki conflicts or formatting issues, so some links have to stay. FallingGravity (talk) 04:45, 11 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

PRODs versus merges[edit]

Hi Steeldragon7,

it looks like you're fairly new here, so you may not have fully absorbed all the arcane procedures and distinctions. Not saying you should, really. But one that's reasonably important is that "deletion" in Wikispeak does not mean just that the content is gone — it means that the page itself becomes a redlink.

So there is no need to propose "deletion" to merge Oh-My-God particle wherever you like. If you want to do it boldly, then just merge the text into the target article, and substitute a redirect for the original article's text. (You might be reverted.) If you want to open up a discussion about it ahead of time, see the {{mergeto}} and {{mergefrom}} templates. --Trovatore (talk) 03:00, 16 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
