Fair use rationale for Image:Tripletau.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Tripletau.gif. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Details, details — The Secret packaging[edit]

Your line "The film opens with an actress portraying Rhonda Byrne..." seems not correct. I will have to check the DVD. Nice work on pulling together the details but there seems to be a little too much detail—lack the 'compelling factior'! Does it really need to be here? Maybe some of this can be moved to trivia and/or cut. Is your intent to give support for these conclusions reached by critics?:

  • "emphatically cinematic" and "driven by images and emotions rather than logic"
  • conjures a "Da Vinci Code" aesthetic, full of pretty faux parchment, quill-and-ink fonts and wax seals.

If so, I don't think providing supporting details helps in this case. One actually has to watch the film to get the experience. I think shortened and moved to Trivia is the best solution. Done as 1 to 3 new trivia items it could be very interesting. :) I will attempt this if you are not interested. —WikiLen 07:16, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
