HMS Beagle[edit]

Thanks for the links you found about the project to build a replica of HMS Beagle – very interesting, and much appreciated. ... dave souza, talk 17:45, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Dave, I'm a co-founder of the project, and deliberately didn't put anything about up until I was sure it had sufficient international support, profile and merited a mention. I know a few Darwin descendents, and members of the Beagle crew are beginning to contact us, so if anything which adds to the Origin/Beagle/Darwin story emerges, I'll update. Sounds interesting, look forward to seeing such information as arises. The Charles Darwin biography itself has been pared down as much as possible, and is still rather oversized, so best to raise points on the talk page before adding much there. The other articles have more room for improvement, of course expect discussions as usual. Thanks again, .. dave souza, talk 21:46, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for your contribution to flooding at Pickering. Do you have any images that can be uploaded, please? I,m keen to keep this page up to date but couldn't get to Pickering (because of the floods !!)to take pictures.--Harkey Lodger 07:37, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'll have an ask around and let you know.
