Re. Admin

My dear Siva, the answer to your question's yes, I'd be happy and honored to do so, and I'm most grateful that you thought of me to nominate you. There are a few things, however, that I wish to comment and discuss with you on that matter, and the best way to proceed; I'll explain them to you by email later, maybe tomorrow at most, k, sweetie? Again, thank you, and talk to you later! :) Love, Phaedriel - 03:26, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Hi Siva, Might this be premature given your recent break? Just noting this since I have seen people oppose on this alone. And welcome back :) David D. (Talk) 23:24, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

I'm not sure how long you should wait. I'd imagine at least a month of regular editing. Maybe Phaedriel has a better idea? David D. (Talk) 04:46, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
I agree, dear David (and btw, long time no see, how are you? ;) Siva, sweetie, I've just emailed you my thoughts on the matter; a little time won't hurt, and much on the contrary, it will improve your chances. Please feel free to reply to me with your ideas. Have a beautiful day! Love, Phaedriel - 07:43, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, but I still won't be throwing out the awards and wikilove :) Although i can do the odd smiley here and there ;) That's pretty extravagant from me, two in one post! David D. (Talk) 20:04, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
See the effect she's having? You'll be wearing a wikilove T-shirt in no time! Back to topic: I agree with the above. I would support Siva, but these days, people will oppose for any reason at all. Samsara (talk  contribs) 20:47, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Rfa

Just dropping by to say "thank you" for supporting me in my recent my RfA. I passed the vote, and am now an admin. It will take me some getting used to with the new tools, but I thank you again for the trust. Have a good one, and, as always, happy editing! Jmlk17 05:18, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

My RfA

That's me...
That's me...

Dear Siva1979, thanks for your support in my recent RfA, it was, however, unsuccessful. I am not the type of editor to be disheartened by such a result, and have gained much experience. If you have anything to contribute by way of improvements or comments, please don’t hesitate to tell me.

I will run again. Until then, Cheers, Dfrg.msc 07:50, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

My RFA

Hello, Siva1979/Archive 17, and thank you so much for your support in my recent RFA, which passed 59/0/0! I will try very hard to live up to your expectations – please let me know if I can help you in any way, but first take your cookie! Thanks again! KrakatoaKatie 00:44, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

Thank you, Siva1979, for commenting on my RfA, which closed successfully with a tally of 76/0/1! I hope I will meet your expectations, and be sure I will continue trying to be a good editor as well as a good administrator :) If I may be of any assistance to you in the future (or if you see me commit some grievous error :), please drop me a line on my Talk page.

Again, thank you, and happy editing! Fvasconcellos (t·c) 18:29, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

Reliable sources about football in Singapore?

Greetings, Siva1979. I noticed that you are a Singaporean and a member of WikiProject Football. By any chance, are you interested in football in Singapore? I am a fan of Tampines Rovers and would like to learn more about football in Singapore; I realised that researching to write (or contribute to existing) Wikipedia articles pertaining to football in Singapore would be a great way to do so.

Unfortunately, finding referenced information on Singaporean topics is difficult, due to external systemic bias. Do you know at least three websites which I can use as reliable sources for information on football in Singapore? If so, please post links to them on my talk page.

If you have an interest in football in Singapore, perhaps we could be Wikifriends and collaborate on articles pertaining to football in Singapore, as well as chat about football (both in Singapore and in the Premier League - I'm a Chelsea fan). Do you have an MSN Messenger or Google Talk account I could add you at?

Thanks for reading and (hopefully) replying.

Thanks for the help

Hi Siva1979. Thanks for the pointers and tips. It is nice to have help from somebody who knows what they are doing! – Naturalmusician

Thank you X 100

Thank you very much for supporting my RfA, which closed successfully yesterday... W00t! I hope to be a great admin (and editor) and I'm sure you can tell that my use of a large, boldfaced, capital "T" and a big checkmark image in this generic "thank you" template that I swiped from some other user's Talk Page that I totally mean business! If you need anything in the future or if you see that I've done something incorrectly, please come to my Talk Page and let me know. So now I've got a bunch of reading to do.... see you around! - eo 13:34, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

re

Hello!

I don't want to sing in to the english wikipedia, I just create some little change. But I'm a hungarian wikipedia editor. I was really happy about your message. But I just translate the englist articles for hungarian language.

Here is my userpage: Warmuz 12:34, 27 June 2007 (CET)

Thank you for your support and comments at my RfA
Hi Siva1979, It still amazes me that otherwise "anonymous" editors take the time to place !votes and comments on RfAs. Whilst I would have normally thanked you at the time of you leaving your message, the importance of my not appearing to be canvassing prevented me from so doing. Now that everything has progressed successfully I can finally thank you. I intend to uphold a style of good adminship and will welcome your further comments at any time in the future, even if they are in the form of admonishment. I will be happy to help as an admin wherever and whenever I can --VS talk 23:29, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

RfA thanks

Hi Siva1979. Thank you for your support and kind words in my RfA, which passed with 95 support, 1 oppose, and 1 neutral !votes. It means a lot to me to have your individual support and the collective support of so many others. I truly will strive to carry myself at a level representing the trust bestowed in me as I use the mop to address the never-ending drips of discontent in need of caretaker assistance.
