Hello SiulRotceh. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:SiulRotceh. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=SiulRotceh|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. GSS💬 07:02, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @GSS thank you for your observation. I am not going to be directly or indirectly compensated. SiulRotceh (talk) 00:53, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for responding. Do you know him personally, have you met him, or are you in touch with him or someone close to him about writing his article? GSS💬 03:35, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. He is my sister-in-law's husband. He is not very computer savvy and asked me if I would help him out. SiulRotceh (talk) 12:45, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for clarifying. Just to make sure I understand correctly, when you mentioned 'He is my sister-in-law's husband,' you mean he's your brother, right? Also, would you mind explaining who took this image and how you own it? Thank you. GSS💬 15:40, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
He is my wife's brother-in-law. My wife's sister's husband. I was sent the picture and authorized to use it. The picture was also made public when it was displayed in local and national media. SiulRotceh (talk) 17:26, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
He is not my brother. SiulRotceh (talk) 17:33, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the clarification. I understand the relationship now and I apologize I made you disclose that publicly but it is required by the policies. Regarding the image, as you mentioned that you were authorized to use it and it was made public in local and national media, I'd kindly ask if you could send permission to Wikimedia, as you don't own the image yourself. I have tagged the image with missing permission, so your assistance in obtaining this permission would be greatly appreciated. As per the policies, the permission should be given directly by the original copyright holder who generally is the photographer. Thank you, GSS💬 18:17, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, where do I need to send the permission. My sister in-law took the photo. SiulRotceh (talk) 12:55, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
