License tagging for Image:Oz-Season3-Episode5-19.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Oz-Season3-Episode5-19.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 16:08, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

I believe that I tagged that right; it's got the full episode credentials and the TV station whatever notice. Anybody want to check on that for me? Sexyactionnick 16:59, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Nick,[edit]

  1. I enjoyed our conversation about the Frederick Koehler screenshot. I have to ask you though; why are you doing such a good job on Fred? I know him from Bogie Nights (Strangers with Candy) but not much else. The linking you've done on his page is really impressive.  ;-)

Anyways, I thought I would offer to put an image and text to go with it at the top of your user page if you want. The same thing as I have here. I got it from another wikipedian and I really like it. — User:Peregrinefisher 09:40, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  2. No, thank you. I love what you've done to List of Strangers with Candy episodes. A truly hilarious show. - Peregrinefisher 23:11, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Link Wheel[edit]

Hey Sexyactionnick,

I added that link wheel to your page. Feel free to change the links, images or revert it.

Collaborate[edit]

Hey Nick,

I would like to collaborate on something with you. Maybe an Oz Inmate InfoBox. I created an infobox once before so I could probably do it again. What would be great is an infobox similar to what we want. I was looking at Template:Star_Trek_character but it would be better to start with a simpler template.

I don't know if you can help me with List of Best Ever Anime but thats what I'm working on lately. There is a bit of controversy though.

Strangers with Candy[edit]

Thanks for the thanks! :) Yeah I noticed the great episode list that was put together so I decided to help out and add in a few episodes. Im going to try and finish off the second session episodes, as I already stubbed them and they are ready for edits. Anyways Im a fan of the show and would be glad to help out those articles. --Popcorn2008 04:26, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah!! you're back[edit]

I'm gonna put some time into SWC too. Check out Retardation: A Celebration (Strangers with Candy) and the next few. I think Unlearned lesson is a funny addition. - Peregrinefisher 09:02, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I took out the lessons. I think name - quote is the standard way like in So It's Come to This: A Simpsons Clip Show - Peregrinefisher 20:33, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:SWC-Season1-Episode5-08small.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:SWC-Season1-Episode5-08small.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 03:08, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ding was made during On the Lot when the 36 semifinalists had to make a short film based on the theme "out of time." Only 4 of those short films were shown in full during episode 2 (Random Acts of Kindness, Vinny's Vault, Out of Time 1, Time Out). The rest were available online. You can see the list of films at List of On the Lot films. The URL for Ding is here (or you can right click>save as the FLV here and watch it in VLC media player. A small snippet of Ding was shown about 17 minutes into episode 2, right before Time Out was shown. --Pixelface 17:15, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Oz-Season3-Episode5-19.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Oz-Season3-Episode5-19.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —Angr 12:05, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Template:Oz character[edit]

A tag has been placed on Template:Oz character requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 04:31, 16 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
