Disambiguation link notification for April 23[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Norman Surplus, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Britain. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:12, 23 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling style[edit]

Hello Scootertop, I saw that you have recently made a number of edits in which you changed the spelling style of an article from American to British. This is not according to the manual of style, which says: When an English variety's consistent usage has been established in an article, maintain it in the absence of consensus to the contrary. You can read this here Retaining the existing variety I reverted some of your edits. Orgfixer (talk) 17:44, 22 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Actually you have gone past this point and are now regularly appearing on page histories directly behind me. This kind of activity is no less potentially hostile than in the physical world and constitutes hounding so I am asking you once to desist. If you appear editing randomly in future on pages after me I shall lodge a complaint in terms of the policy without further communication--Scootertop (talk) 11:32, 23 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Chairperson[edit]

In this edit, you changed the description of the role Adamu held from "chairman" to "chairperson". The source specifically refers to the role as chairperson, and when making a claim about being the first chairperson to do something, switching it to chairman makes that less clear, as it opens the possibility that a chairwoman had done the same thing. Please revert that change. --Nat Gertler (talk) 15:43, 3 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

CS1 error on Samoa[edit]

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Samoa, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A "bare URL and missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 14:59, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
