Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Schiller12. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Anne-Sophie Mutter, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 01:52, 3 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

June 2022[edit]

Section titles are written in "sentence case"[edit]

Our Manual of Style explicitly says that "Section headings should...be presented in sentence case (Funding of UNESCO projects in developing countries), not title case (Funding of UNESCO Projects in Developing Countries)". Please don't revert edits made to articles that correct this.

And please begin using edit summaries; this is a collaborative project and communication with other editors is critical. Thanks!

Harvard University Department Categories[edit]

I've noticed that you've done some excellent work on creating and classifying folks to go into university department categories, like Category:Harvard University Department of Mathematics faculty. Could you also add the wikiprojects to the new department categories? Like this? It helps with maintaining the categories, etc. Thanks! Mason (talk) 18:25, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

August 2023[edit]

Information icon Hi Schiller12! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Harvard University Department of Psychology that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. This one for example: [1] Mason (talk) 18:28, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Harvard University Department of Psychology alumni has been nominated for deletion. A discussion is taking place to decide whether this proposal complies with the categorization guidelines. If you would like to participate in the discussion, you are invited to add your comments at the category's entry on the categories for discussion page. Thank you. Thanks for your contributions to List of Curtis Institute People. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it needs more sources to establish notability and it is a dadly sourced article. There is a whole structured list which is essentially link spam with no verification per WP:V that they notable. Each entry needs a references. . Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. scope_creepTalk 07:13, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Influences eliminated[edit]

As you apparently put a lot of effort on 5th September and later into editing the Influences item in the InfoBox for Albert Einstein I don't suppose you were delighted to see that on 3rd October (a mere four weeks later) your work was eliminated as part of an effort to remove Influences items from all articles about scientists. Not only that, but in a discussion at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template_talk:Infobox_scientist the article on Einstein was given as an example of "abuse" of the Influences item.
