Miranda Habeeb article

This article was short enough to be considered a substub and will most likely be deleted. See How to write a great article for tips on how to create good Wikipedia articles. haz (user talk) 19:49, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

Ageing

Why did you copy the content of the page to aging? Ageing is a perfectly valid spelling, and your move separated the article from its history. - SimonP 17:56, 4 February 2006 (UTC)

  • I didn't know what was the right spelling for the word, but I thought aging was right. I was proved wrong from Dictionary.com. -- Schfiftythree628 13:14, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

Guest stars on Sesame Street

While a character based on Gary Coleman appears in Avenue Q, Avenue Q is in no way related to Sesame Street. Do not add him into the guest stars list. -- user:zanimum

Todd Field

The link in the article "Todd Field" should link to Academy Award for Directing, not directly to Best Director of the Year. Please do not make changes without reason. -- user:Zanimum

Frank Sinatra on SS

Frank never appeared on Sesame Street. These are the only connections Frank has to the Muppets. -- Zanimum 18:57, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

Spam

Please do not insert spam, or imaginary stories into wikipedia, as you seemed to do to Skynet (fictional). Thanks! Snowfire51 (talk) 05:31, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

Yeah

I don't have the quickest internet in the world, so when I went to RV someone just got it done faster than I did... then I saw that I RV'd the RV and I tried to RV myself and you had already done it...

All that to say:

I WANT FASTER INTERNET!!!!

The RickK Anti-Vandalism Barnstar

The RickK Anti-Vandalism Barnstar
I hereby award you the The RickK Anti-Vandalism Barnstar, for your efforts at stopping the vandal scum rampaging like a horde un-checked all over wikipedia. You must certainly deserve it. KerotanLeave Me a Message Have a nice day :) 01:20, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

Also as a courtesy, I will paste this barnstar on your user page for you.--KerotanLeave Me a Message Have a nice day :) 01:20, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

Well as you can see I did place on the section on your user page, but I thought I would leave it here as well, Otherwise you don't get the "you have new messages" box on your screen. Also congratulations on getting your first barnstar.--KerotanLeave Me a Message Have a nice day :) 01:25, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
No problem. SchfiftyThree 01:26, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

Apologies

Sorry. Remove mine if you wish, I don't really mind. :) Rudget. 17:21, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

It's okay. I might just move it down into the February 2008 section under my warning. SchfiftyThree 17:22, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

!תודה

Thanks for the revert on my userspace! :) I can indeed confirm that it wasn't true. :) Tuvok[T@lk/Improve] 18:53, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

Userpage bio edit count

I find it somewhat unusual that you update the edit count on your userpage every couple hours when you've only made a few dozen edits. This is only my personal preference -- so don't change what you're doing just because I said something -- but I like to keep rounded totals (ending in -00) updated, and just say "over xx00" rather than an exact count.

Exact counts tend to get outdated really quickly, too, both because you keep editing and because pages that get deleted don't show up in the normal edit counts that most users use (like Interiot's Tool1 on the Toolserver). What I did when my increases were relatively slow was update in increments of 100 edits. When I started editing more, I increased at 250-edit intervals, then 500. I'm staying at 500-edit intervals for now, and occasionally go for over 1,000 without an update. So that's just my two cents. Thoughts? Comments? Angry rebuttals demanding why I'm telling you what to do? I'll be watching this page. Tuvok[T@lk/Improve] 21:50, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

That's alright with me. For me, I would update the edit # every dozen or so edits so that when users see my userpage, then they'll see the amount of contribs I made. Currently, I have over 1,600, but maybe I'll go with your idea. I'll see what happens. SchfiftyThree 21:54, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
Just goofing on you here, but how many of those edits are actually only edits to your user page, updating the total number of edits you've made? Snowfire51 (talk) 22:04, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
I'm guessing over 75 (including vandalism-made edits), cause I've been updating the edit count until now. SchfiftyThree 22:08, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
(edit conflict x2) Cool, then. I only mentioned it because of my own conscience. I, too, used to update every few edits, but I felt guilty updating so frequently. I wanted to ensure a small percentage of my edits were count updates, so I came up with my interval system. See which you like better; I don't really have a preference one way or the other. You could even just update once a day before you go to bed, or every time you go offline. Just making alternate suggestions in case you don't like my earlier ideas. :) Cheers! Tuvok[T@lk/Improve] 22:09, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
PS: Re Snowfire51's comment, which EC'd me, that's kind of what I was getting at with my system. I felt nervous about making too many edits to my userpage. :)

Of course I'm happy! I just blocked him anyways. Thanks, - Rjd0060 (talk) 23:42, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Help...

Thanks for helping me out, I didn't know that. If you can, can you get rid of the vandalism warning the guy put on my User Talk page? It wasn't intentional vandalism and the guy seems to dislike me. Thank you! —Preceding unsigned comment added by SuperROFLMASTER (talkcontribs) 00:48, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Re: Quick Question

I use a JavaScript program built on JSL available here. There's one module that allows me to look at images and their histories at high speed, then another to nuke them. east.718 at 00:01, February 23, 2008

I've heard of that Twinkle program, even though I'm not using it right now. SchfiftyThree 00:04, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

re: Billy Bishop

That's fine. I wasn't accusing you of having done the vandalism in that edit summary, by the way, I had just noticed that it still said 'anders is gay' at the top, so I took that out. Page reverting gets very complicated when multiple editors vandalise in a row. RedZionX 02:31, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

No problem. As I said, reversion is tedious when 'undo' only rolls back to the vandalism done by a different editor. I just happened to be using the Lupin tool, and saw the 'is gay' bit twice, so I figured I should go check it out. RedZionX 02:38, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Re: Rollback

I was considering that for a while, but currently I use Twinkle, which packages a modified rollback function with several different features as well (very handy). I could request rollback, but I would probably be turned down for a number of reasons which I'm currently trying to fix. One of them is that I tend to be a bit revert-happy on occasion, especially during huge vandalism blitzes like the ones that have occurred in the last few days. I may request rollback in a few months, but for now I need to work on my knowledge of wiki policies so that I don't bring down the wrath of God other users upon my head. Glad to know somebody considers me trustworthy enough for the rollback though. RedZionX 14:48, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks!

Thanks for the revert. Gotta love when sock farms go on the attack! TRAVELLINGCARIMy storyTell me yours 03:27, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
