Peer Review[edit]

Hey! Great job on your article thus far. You are clearly very knowledgeable on your topic and have done great research. There are a few points that I would like to mention.

Coverage: This part of your draft appears to be very well done. I think you mention a lot of great points and you cover major aspects of your topic.

Organization: In terms of the order of topics, I think it may read more clearly if you started with the "development" section instead. Also, does the "species-specific defense behaviours" topic need a full section to itself, or could it be a subsection that further explains one of your main sections? It's definitely important information, I'm just not sure if it belongs there!

Content: I would suggest further explaining why this particular occurrence is seen. Maybe add specific examples of how an animal would benefit from this.

Overall, well done. Keep up the good work, and I can't wait to read the final draft! Sbugden (talk) 22:05, 22 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Sbugden, thank you for your feedback! I most certainly agree with your observation that species-specific defence behaviours probably should be put within another section. After further research, I don't think there is quite enough information on species-specific defence behaviours as a topic alone to require a full section. I also agree with your advice about starting with the development section and I am considering this section being where I introduce the idea of species-specific defence behaviours. I will also definitely be providing specific examples of animals benefitting from this processes. I am trying to decide between having these examples within my "Stages of threat" section or having a separate section for examples and benefits of this occurrence. If you have any ideas in regards to where I should include these examples please let me know! Again, thank you for all of your suggestions, they were very helpful.Sboychuk (talk) 18:36, 26 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
