Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from one or more pages into Ajuran Sultanate. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:11, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

thank you i have provided all the pages that i have copied from before and for the British Somalis page I apologize for any inconveniences

The names come from List of British Somalis, but not the descriptions you are adding. I don't think it's appropriate to copy that material across in any case. If you wish to do so, please discuss it on the article's talk page. Cordless Larry (talk) 12:47, 4 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

fair enough i will keep the descriptions as it is thank you for the message

Notice

The article Horn Africans in the United Kingdom has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

There's no clear reason for this article's existence, given that we have individual articles on the three groups that it collects together. Reliable sources don't seem to treat Horn Africans in the UK as a group.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. October 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Cordless Larry (talk) 12:54, 4 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Somalis in the United Kingdom. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to losing your editing privileges. Thank you. Cordless Larry (talk) 14:27, 4 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

—this wasnt an edit warring you reverted it becosue i forgot to include some details and some details were forgotten i included them in the article so therfore i reverted it back, --Sahasu (talk) 14:30, 4 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It's edit warring because you keep adding the same material despite being reverted. Moreover, you haven't provided attribution of the individual articles that the material is being copied from, and the addition of the infobox images goes against WP:NOETHNICGALLERIES, as I have pointed out. Please stop making these edits and discuss them on the article's talk page if you want to make them instead. Cordless Larry (talk) 14:35, 4 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I am not a sock puppet of that account I think the reason I was blocked was because I was edit warring but reverted many of my edits and I have been discussing my edits in the talk page prior to getting blocked I will follow Wikipedia guidelines I am new to Wikipedia and I have just started learning about how to use the website so I apologise for any inconvenience and I will keep discussions in the talk page where they belong

Decline reason:

You have not adequately addressed the sock puppetry; a simple denial is not sufficient. You will need to go into more detail about the situation and address why we think you have more than one account when you don't, or otherwise describe your relationship to the other account. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 09:23, 5 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

i checked the guys contributions apparently he doesnt leave any edit summary in almost all of his edits while i leave different edit summaries explaining my edits in the majority of my edits. i believe i was blocked becosue of a edit warr in the somalis in norway and somalis in denmark edits i explained most of my edits in the talk page and was conversing in the page for the majority o the time i also unedited many of my edits as suggested by the readers so i did listen to the editors and i did talk to them prior to engaging in any edit war Sahasu (talk) 09:36, 5 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

This is not remotely convincing. Yamla (talk) 11:13, 5 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

remotely convincing how i checked the account and the reason why i got sockpuppetted was i apparently somehow used the same technique in creating new pages is that i copy a format from an existing page the reason why i did this was becosue i am new to wikipedia and i didnt quite know how to create pages or with templates the other thing is i checked the accounts edit history i literally dont have the same edit history as the account as that the account makes edits without leaving any summary while i have made edit summaries going in to details about almost all if not all of my edits explaining the reasons for my edits so how can i be a sockpuppet if my edit patterns are completely different i have also created this page with https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Battle_of_Nechsar and thier was no accusation of sockpuppetry i used the same format is that i start of by copying the same pages then edit in new details and publish them the reason why i did this was becosue i didnt know how to create templates as i am new to wikipedia, also to add i did not make any similar edits on any similar pages that the account am allegged to be a sockpuppet of made, i havent made any edits on the same page as that account my edits were mostly somali and horn of african related pages while the other accounts edits were mostly on arab related pages like algerians in denmark or morrocans in Belgium etc

Decline reason:

Putting aside the sockpuppetry issue, it's quite apparent from your request that you do not have the competency in written English needed to contribute constructively. Your ability to make further appeals has been withdrawn. MER-C 10:51, 13 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
