Repeated reverts
I don't see this discussed in the brfa. This bot apparently re-reverts. Most anti-vandal bots are written so that the sequence (bot revert, undo bot edit, bot re-revert) doesn't happen. Should this bot also avoid such sequences? Gimmetoo (talk) 02:48, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
- Well, it does have that built in. The setting for the number of times it reverts is at User:SDPatrolBot/configuration/replacementslmt.css. At the moment it is set to 3, to stay in-line with 3RR. It follows the structure generally used by other anti-vandalism bots where it will keep reverting while escalating the warning level, and then report to AIV. The difference is the bot stops reverting after reporting to AIV. The instructions for the config pages is at User:SDPatrolBot/configuration. - Kingpin13 (talk) 07:22, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
