Sandbox: Chaz Hatch[edit]

Hello. Just to save you an awful lot of time and effort, I'd like to suggest that you start your draft sandbox article from scratch. At the moment it looks like you've either been told what to say by this person or you know them personally. Either way, you've written a very rambling essay on his life and descent into addiction, not a concise encyclopaedia article based on published sources.

Please read WP:NBIO to understand our concept of notability, and what you are and are not allowed to say about living people. Find sources and use ONLY them to write a two paragraph draft on this man. All the other trivial stuff is unwanted, inappropriate and will never be accepted. You may also wish to re-read Help:Referencing for beginners to understand how to insert inline citations which include urls to online resources. Just a list at the bottom of the page will not suffice for a biography of a living person. To be frank, looking online, I don't think this person meets our notability criteria - but you might find Reliable Sources that do. Put your effort nto finding them (avoiding just local newspapers and insider newsletters) and stick solely to them and there's possibly a slim chance it will be accepted, but certainly not in its present form.

How do you know this person? You've written so much intimate detail about his life without using any published sources that I remain convinced that you're either writing about yourself, your boss, or a close personal friend or family member. Please declare that connection by following the guidelines at WP:COI (or indicate clearly if you do not have one). Because we do not permit undeclared paid editing, please follow the guidance at WP:PAID to ensure you do not breach our policies. Many thanks, Nick Moyes (talk) 09:19, 5 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
