Proposed deletion of Thank You (4Minute song)

The article Thank You (4Minute song) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This is just a song on the album that was released as a music video. It did not have a campaign to promote it as a single and thus does not have notability on its own. It should be merged into the 4Minute World. The chart performance data is copied from the album and does not reflect the individual single.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

The article was re-created by an unregistered user who has been trying to add unsourced secondary singles to 4Minute albums, so I am hoping this can be deleted without controversy. I remember you helped curb his previous posts, and would appreciate your help on this. Thanks. AngusWOOF (talk) 17:31, 17 December 2014 (UTC)

@AngusWOOF: No objections on the deletion of this article from me since I agree on all the points you made and that the song wasn't released as a single & lacks notability. Other than that it can be safely deleted. Rockysmile11 (talk) 05:34, 19 December 2014 (UTC)

TV Shows as primary sources

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_Murdoch_Mysteries_episodes&diff=638753017&oldid=638680144 I agree that TV shows are primary sources, but the summary is not the TV show and it still needs a ref. Some of the material in this article has been copied from other sources which is another reason sources should be used: so that we can confirm that the material is original. Walter Görlitz (talk) 14:34, 19 December 2014 (UTC)

@Walter Görlitz: If there is copyrighted material that was directly copied from the sources, they I will have to check and get them removed and written into our own words. However again on WP:TVPLOT, unless the episode is upcoming or lost, references are not required as long as the plot summaries are only making descriptive claims, and not "analytic, synthetic, interpretive, explanatory, or evaluative claims about information found in a primary source." If I have spare time, I would like to expand the short, one-lined summaries in a paragraph. Rockysmile11 (talk) 15:28, 19 December 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for January 20

Avoiding redundancy in captions

Hi, I think you may possibly have missed the key point here, that we actively avoid repeating things in articles. Where a section heading or gallery heading says vertebrates, we do not need to say 'it's a vertebrate' in captions because that is already clear to the reader. There is no need to revert a whole edit to fix a minor item like a bracket, we should just fix the bracket in such circumstances. With many thanks for your understanding. Chiswick Chap (talk) 08:04, 4 February 2015 (UTC)

@Chiswick Chap: You were welcome to remove the rest of the sentence since I know nothing on this subject. Simply just found an error when I was browsing this random article and wanted to fix it. Thank you and have a great night. Rockysmile11(talk) 08:10, 4 February 2015 (UTC)
