January 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Sean Combs has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. The recent edit you made to Sean Combs constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to vandalize pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you. Geoff Who, me? 01:33, 18 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unsourced content, as you did to Sean Combs. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. —Ute in DC (talk) 21:14, 18 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

February 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Nicki Minaj, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted (undone) by ClueBot NG.

  • Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG produces very few false positives, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been detected as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Nicki Minaj was changed by RobertRay45821 (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.859314 on 2011-02-04T12:40:56+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 12:41, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please source your edits as you add the information. The material you added here to the Wiz Khalifa article seems to be unsourced. Shearonink (talk) 17:41, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning; the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. STATic message me! 19:59, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for vandalism. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Request reason:

I was just trying to help Wikipedia. I want Wikipedia to become a better place to find out facts. It makes me want to cry that I have been blocked for a reason that I think is a very negative reason. I think this is just a huge misunderstanding. I don't even know what I did. Please help me. RobertRay45821 (talk) 21:33, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

Accept reason:

I will accept in good faith that you will make constructive edits. The reason you were blocked originally was other members feeling your edits were nonconstructive, leading to your username being reported to Administrator Intervention against Vandalism. About Me[edit]

Hi my name is Robert. I am ten years old. I live with my mom and dad and two pets (one is a hamster and the other is a dog). My favorite foods are nachos and cookies. My favorite book is Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney.

A tag has been placed on Young Money (musical group), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Moreover, please add more verifiable sources, not only 3rd party sources. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hang on}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. License tagging for File:Erick Sermon.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Erick Sermon.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 18:05, 12 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Associated Acts and Alias'[edit]

Please read Associated acts guideline before you add to the Associated acts in an artist infobox again because the ones that you are adding fail the guideline which is the reason you got blocked. Also read Alias guideline before you add to that again because the names you add fail the guideline; Its not for nicknames only for other names the artist has released music under. STATic message me! 01:36, 14 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please consider this a final warning. If you make one more edit that goes against the Associated Acts guideline that StaticVerseatide cited, you will be blocked again. Thank you, m.o.p 22:35, 19 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

They were no where close to nessasary. They might be the most not noteable Associated acts additions I have seen in my year on wikipedia. To be a Associated Act that artist must have formed a noteable alliance with the artist. Saying Lil Wayne, Juicy J and T-Pain are AAs of Wiz Khalifa is crazy! Lil Wayne hasent made a single song with him and the other two made one song, not even a song a remix of a song! To be an Associated they must have either made at least i'd say 4+ songs (not remixes) together, performed a full length tour together where they performed on stage at the same time, groups of which he or she has been a member and/or made a collaboration studio album with. With Alias', they are only Alias' if the artist has officially released music under that name or was credited as that name on a song. STATic message me! 01:53, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

March 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Kesha. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Unsourced edits[edit]

This edit appears to be vandalism. If you actually have a reliable source that claims that that is Akon's name, you need to provide it. Repeating the edit without providing a source will result in you being blocked from editing.—Kww(talk) 20:42, 5 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You need to be able to tell people a reliable source that shows that that is his actual name. If you tell me where you found it, I can help you with the formatting.—Kww(talk) 02:08, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Just leave a message on my talk page showing me where you got it, and I will do the rest.—Kww(talk) 02:17, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That's a blog entry, posted by an anonymous editor. That isn't considered to be a reliable source. You have to find a better source than that.—Kww(talk) 02:37, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You need to read WP:RS. The short version: a reliable source is a source with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy. Anonymous blogs do not have such a reputation.—Kww(talk) 03:26, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

April 2011[edit]

This is the last warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits.
Your continued joking at Tiger Woods is disruptive and considered vandalism. You may be blocked from editing Wikipedia the next time you do so. You know better than to use a random Facebook page as a source. Stop it. NeilN talk to me 13:11, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Then provide proper reliable references - not Facebook or Youtube. It does not matter what your Dad thinks. --NeilN talk to me 13:18, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Also, the hurdle for including rumours about people is that the rumours have to be significant, long-lasting, and extensively covered, and even then they may only get a passing reference in the article (c.f. Lady Gaga). —C.Fred (talk) 22:10, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Jay Z[edit]

Hello RobertRay45821. My deepest apologies for committing a despicable deed that was absolutely uncalled for. I deliberately didn't vandalize the article yet instead I accidentally fumbled while editing a spacing problem that was in "Associated acts" section inside the Jay-Z description box. I kept re-editing but I couldn't manage to restore the article into it's original form. Thanks for the assistance in restoring your article and I'll be more careful next time while editing.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
