1789-1880 Eisteddfodau[edit]

Do you have any references for these? I'm no expert on the National Eisteddfod, but I thought it was generally accepted that they didn't take place until the late 19th century.--Rhyswynne (talk) 12:01, 26 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for getting back and for providing the links. I'm inclined to say that these are local/provincialeisteddfodau of national importance and not part of the 'modern' National Eisteddfod.
