Yes, there is a policy that compilation albums should not be included in chronologies, but it is often disregarded, possibly because people don't know about it. I assumed that since you were apparently familiar with a relatively obscure entry in Eno's catalog like Curiosities Vol. 2, you would also be aware of more well-known releases like Nerve Net (1992), The Shutov Assembly (1992), Neroli (1993), Spinner (1995), The Drop (1997), and Drawn From Life (2001), all of which have been released since Wrong Way Up. (1990). I didn't want to correct it before I fully understood why you just reverted to the old, broken version.

Well, you assumed wrong I'm afraid. In fact I am quite unfamiliar with Eno's catalog. I don't remember exactly but I think I assumed it might be a compilation album from the album title and looked it up and saw that it was listed as a compilation album. I was just trying to fix what appeared to be just another occurrence of a common mistake (listing the previous album including compilations as opposed to the previous album excluding compilations), and at the same time point out the policy for the benefit of those who may not have been aware of it. --PEJL 22:55, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I'm getting that. According to this page at enoshop.co.uk, both Curiosities volumes contain unreleased tracks. Unless you can provide an authoritative source that Curisoties Vol. 2 is a compilation album, that should be the legitimite previous album to Another Day on Earth. --Register allocation 23:40, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

It might depend on how many of the tracks are previously unreleased. In my experience albums which contain more previously released tracks than previously unreleased tracks are mostly categorized as compilation albums on Wikipedia. --PEJL 00:46, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

Blah, blah, blah

I can't really figure out what the problem is here. The image uploading interface seems to indicate it's ok (via fair use) to upload pix of album covers. If it's not, 1) change the interface, and 2) delete them as necessary.

It is OK to upload images of album covers under Fair Use. What makes things difficult is that they must be tagged with a Fair Use Rationale for each article the image is used in, in addition to the Licensing template.
