Speedy deletion nomination of The Legion Clan[edit]

A tag has been placed on The Legion Clan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. It was up for about 5min. Then when I went to submit another set of changes it was gone.

And you received a helpful response from the deleting administrator also within about five minutes ;) Wikipedia has lots of policies, rules, and guidelines, unfortunately that owns it does not think it is necessary to provide this information in an easy-to-understand format for new users and new article creators. We always reccommend creating new articles in user space first, but that advice usually comes too late. There is of course the WP:Article wizard but even that is relatively little known or used.
