Hi not sure what to change i did spent some time looking for Ref: on the net, lots of the smaller indi labels have gone or been pushed under by the big 4, i have tryed to use the links as a document to show a little history of UK dance music and David Bahars contribution and Chill Records, putting the links in is the only way of proving these facts from what i can find.

David Bahar had a no1 in the Black Echo dance charts in 1991, however the publication can not offer anything online to show this, so this was not included in the artical. your experice and help is needed, if you have the time that would be great to hear any advice. thanks--Radicalthinker (talk) 20:23, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of David Bahar[edit]

I'm about to pop off to bed, so I can't go into too much depth (never edit Wikipedia when fatigued or drunk!), but I suggest adding all of those references to the page as quickly as possible. You may also wish to peruse WP:MUSIC - there are twelve notability criteria there, and generally musicians only have to meet one to be considered notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia. If Bahar has had a #1 on a national music chart, and you can provide a web link to prove it, the article should be safe from deletion.
Note that the outcome of the AfD process is not entirely up to me, and others may also jump into the discussion and add their opinions. If you can provide the material to prove that Bahar meets WP:MUSIC, I will be happy to turn my opinion there around to "Keep". Lankiveil (speak to me) 12:13, 23 September 2008 (UTC).[reply]

David Bahar[edit]

i do feel this artist did contribute to UK dance music, i remeber been in the clubs that played The Theme, back in the 80s please follow the link(The Theme) on the David Bahar page and see some of the comments made regarding the track, i can not find much more also, but thats why i put the info here of what i could find, i feel it gives all the more interest, this page is not going to get 100000000000 hits however i do feel may pages here will not also. please read below some of the quotes, i did not include them on the david bahar page as i could only find them on the unique 3 site and not on other sites. if all the info was as easy as Google search, it would be great however i think that would take somthing away from Wikipedia, its one of the things that makes it worth doing a search, ( its great when i cant find somthing on google but i find it here) thats what keeps me coming back and i am sure many others, i do feel i have been fair in my editing, and thats all i can realy do. Hope this may make you reconsider the deletion.

here are some coments i could find from the unique 3 page and i am sure if they where untrue the people and companies below would have them taken off.

"The Theme’ gave bass tones a whole new meaning" [Music Mag]

"Commitment to the underground" [Record Mirror]

"This isn’t music, this is a physical force" [Mixmag]

Unique 3 "The first & hardest on the UK House scene" [Pete Tong - Radio 1]

"The new age, [Unique 3] stand as a testament to the new spirit of risk and adventure" [Paulo Hewitt NME]

David Bahar[edit]

Hello i pasted this form the criteria page for inclusion Is cited in reliable sources as being influential in style, technique, repertory or teaching in a particular music genre.

i feel this artist falls under influential in style i do feel the publications and people such a Pete Tong would have this removed from the the unique myspace site i also just found this below

The inclusion of Unique 3’s - ’The Theme’ on both The Chemical Brothers album of tracks that inspired them to make music: ’Brothers Gonna Work It Out’ & on Warp Records collection of early House tracks that inspired them to set up their world famous label, an album aptly titled:’Inspirations’, stands testament to this. - Virgin/10 Records Press Department.

links[edit]

The quote can be found at the unique 3 i know this is the unique 3 myspace however i do feel if would not be possible for them to make such claims about The Theme it the quotes are not true, little information on David Bahar will ever befound this is an artist that has stayed away from the lime light and has just put a face to the name, thats what i think is rather interesting. this unique 3 site is nothing to do with David Bahar, 10 records is no longer trading but im sure Virgin records would not let unique 3 get away with any miss quotes. David Bahar chart hit was in the Black Echo publication short of getting a faxed copy i am pritty sure i will not find it on the web, this is why i did not include it as i thought that was not up to standerd --Radicalthinker (talk) 12:52, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New link please take a look at[[1]] go down to Disc 2 you will find the Chill Mix. this is the Chill Records mix, on the credits for the chill records is David Bahar. I understand and respect what you are doing here and this Artist David Bahar, was unknown to you me and many others, i found him on myspace when i read the info regarding the theme that was a big tune in my life in its day, i wanted to make sure he was not making it up as i thought Unique 3 where just unique 3 and not the mad musician also, thats when i looked around found what i could and then put up the info here, if you wish to disregard this piece of music history, i can only wonder why.
