Hi Quarl!
I've been using www.allmovie.com, www.metacritic.com, and www.imdb.com for information on movie release dates.
I try to double check them with official websites if I can, i've discovered that allmovie.com isn't terribly reliable for older film release dates (e.g: Having "The Cabinet of Dr.Caligari" released in 1919).

What's the point? It's just harder to read for those who are unsure whether you meant it to be YMD or YDM format, and it's ugly.

- Beth, Luka, Varco and anyone else whose talk page I reverted: User:Miro.gal was mass-canvassing users he/she believed would agree with his/her viewpoint on Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/International_Institute_of_Management; this was a blind categorical action as can be seen by the fact that many of the users he/she targetted had long stopped editing Wikipedia. Canvassing hurts Wikipedia for many reasons. When this action was brought up on WP:AN/I, I responded in the usual manner of undoing the canvassing, although the damage was partly done. Thank you for your response. I am still troubled by someone editing my talk page by deletion, rather than by adding a comment. I agree that the tone on the query was problematic, and by the way, I haves seen worse, but I took that into account in my response on the AfD page. I do not think that because someone has the philosphy of inclusion, that constitutes the bias that is referred to in the response above yours.--Beth Wellington 15:59, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
username question
I am not sure what to do when I come across an obscene username so I am going to ask you. There is a user with the username of "Penisjunkie" and I just thought that that username might be inappropriate;however, I am not an admin so I do not know how much I can do regarding the issue. Your signature
I was wondering if you could remove the custom formatting on the dates in your signature (including the wiki-linking). A lot of archival bots are handling talk pages now, and they only understand the default ~~~~~ syntax, not whatever extra stuff people are adding by JavaScript. As a consequence an archival bot won't recognize the timestamp of when your messages are posted, which could result in the section containing your message being archived almost immediately after you write something because the bot doesn't recognize your comment as recent. --Cyde Weys 16:08, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

- It's not just Werdnabot. And it's really unnecessary to clutter up the What links here in various year and date articles with talk pages. Can't you just use the default syntax? It doesn't seem to be something that should be changed. --Cyde Weys 21:57, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

Tech OCP was originally founded in 1996 and ran as a technology newsletter in Tennessee. We even own the Business name Tech OCP, LLC in the state of Tennessee and have since 1998. It was not until recently we decided to bring Tech OCP online and an actual TV station broadcasted here in TN. Licensing of JavaScript scripts
