Hey, with regards to this, you need to find a source relating the real Blackadder, to the fictional one before you add it to the article on the fictional Blackadder. Alternatively feel free to get Captian Blackadders first name, and start an article on him, you can even link to it in the/a see also section of the fictional Blackadders page. Hi there,

I just wanted to clarify why I have undone your revisions again. While I'm not saying that the real Blackadder existed, and did things that the fictional one would have done, there is nothing in your edit or source that demonstrates that the authors of the show named their character after the real Blackadder, which is the point of the section. To simply state that that is the case based on the evidence available is Original Research, and therefore can't go into WP. Hope that makes sense. Ged UK (talk) 09:54, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
