I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Baldwin Beach: The Real S.T., suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Baldwin Beach: The Real S.T.. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. —Wknight94 (talk) 01:20, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome[edit]

Hello, Puffy1632, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

I removed the prod on Baldwin Beach: The Real S.T. and sent this to AfD. I'm pretty sure the article will be deleted, but it's quite nicely constructed and I felt it deserved a full debate. I praise your contribution, though! This was good work, I just hope you're willing to stay and work on other articles.

Again, welcome!  Mangojuicetalk 16:00, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You asked for advice on how to make your article keepable. The tough news is, not every topic is important enough for Wikipedia, so there's probably nothing you can do. But if we're wrong and this show is actually notable, the main thing is that we need verification of this. I'd suggest if you could find multiple newspaper or magazine articles about the show, that would do it. These have to be real media, though, not blogs, forum posts, or personal websites.. and it wouldn't be very convincing if it was something like a high school newspaper. It's important that the article be about the show, too, not one that just gives a casual mention. Anyway, as you can see, this is a very tough standard for something like Baldwin Beach to live up to, but that is the way things work on Wikipedia. Check out Wikipedia:Verifiability, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not for the core content policies of Wikipedia. Mangojuicetalk 13:00, 31 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on South Tahoe High School, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. If you plan to add more material to the article, I advise you to do so immediately. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NickelShoe (Talk) 20:48, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You recently proposed that the article South Tahoe High School receive speedy deletion. I apologize that it is a stub right now, but give me a couple days and it'll definitely be up to Wikipedia par. No, I didn't. You'll see from the page history[1] that that was done by User:Mystify85JEC. All I did was tell you about it.
In any case, placing the hangon tag is the right thing to do, and continue to edit the article in the meantime. NickelShoe (Talk) 21:00, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Old School Dos, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. - iridescenti (talk to me!) 19:00, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you delete or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia, as you did to Pink, you will be blocked from editing. Anthony Rupert 03:21, 1 June 2007 (UTC) Wow, so I totally didn't mean to. It was a complete accident. Puffy1632 (talk) 07:18, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
