Hello, is it true that Eternity's Child is actually being released on the PSN?[edit]

I've seen a report on this website:

http://www.xblarcade.com/node/1131

That Luc confirmed via e-mail that Eternity's Child is actually headed to the PSN in addition to the Wii and Nintendo DS.

Is this true? Hero of legend 02:23, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Luc has been talking to sony about making a PS3 version, but he didn't say anything specifically about PSN to me yet. However, it seems like that's the way we'd go, since PSN has much more space available for each game than XBLA. Prgrmr@wrk 14:29, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I guess it's not so bad, as long as the PSN version doesn't get exclusive content (if it's the same as the Wii version), then it won't be such a harsh blow, as I was really liking the fact thst this game was Nintendo exclusive. :P Oh well, what matters is that the Wii and the DS are even getting the game.
Have you heard anything regarding if the possible PSN version will be a separate game like the other versions? Finally, will the Wii version support 480p, 16:9, and Dolby Pro Logic II? And in the original trailer of the Wii version, the animations looked pretty bland, Angel didn't even have a proper jumping animation! Will these be fixed by the time it's finished? 99.226.139.105 14:54, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I forgot to login, it's me again! XD Hero of legend 14:55, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have no idea if the PSN will be a completely seperate game or not, but I doubt it. We've discussed doing episodic content before, so that's a possibility. The wii version will definately support 480p, and any other version will support whatever hidef formats are available on the platform. As for dolby, I don't know yet. There's only so much you can do with 2d levels as far as sound goes. The animations will definately be more "awesome" as time goes on, they're just very time consuming to make. Fully understandable! I must say, I consider this game to be a blessing! I treasured Disney's movies during the Renaissance era, with The Lion King being my favorite movie of all time! And Luc wants to bring back that magic in the form of a video game! Luc is quite amazing, I love his passion for old school 2D, I'm sick of all the CGI movies that are coming out. :'(
One last thing, if there will be a PSN version, will Alten8 be part of that project? Or is Alten8 only doing the Nintendo versions regardless? And was Luc without a real company when he was doing the XBLA version? Hero of legend 15:11, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I can't discuss publisher details at this time, sorry. And I'm in the process of registering a "real company", so I can't provide details on that either. Prgrmr@wrk 15:22, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
