Kapparot[edit]

Hi. I just reverted an edit of yours, not because of the content accuracy, but because of where you placed it and the level of detail. The Mishnah Berurah's attitude towards kapparot is partially mentioned in section "Historical Controversy"; the section you modified was a purely descriptive section of what the practces are, not the debate / dicussion of the merits of each. —Boruch Baum (talk) 05:34, 20 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted it because the article starts off with an alternative to a chick, money. I pointed out that its not really an alternative, rather a last resort according to the MB @Boruch Baum:

But that's only an opinion, and as such, should be in the discussion of the opinions and the controversies. The section you modified is just a description of the practice. Your edit injects bias into the neutral observation of practice. —Boruch Baum (talk) 05:44, 20 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The use of money has little grounding in jewish law as a first choice. As it stands, it would seem like thw two practises are equal, which is false. @Boruch Baum:

May 2016[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Solomon's Temple, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". I'll add that I agree with the revert of your edit. Doug Weller talk 14:10, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Edit war warning[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Solomon's Temple. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Jytdog (talk) 21:43, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
