Proposed deletion of Support (singing)[edit]

The article Support (singing) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not in any sense notable and has no references. This is both WP:OR and a "how to do it" article. Not encyclopaedic - certainly in this form

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  Velella  Velella Talk   17:21, 9 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have redirected your article to Singing#Vocal technique, which already contains a plethora of information on this matter. Please recall that Wikipedia is not a how-to guide. We don't need information on how to sing, but rather information on why proper or improper vocal technique can affect the singing voice. We also don't need multiple articles on the same topic. Please feel to edit the singing article with any information you feel is missing. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 17:39, 9 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your username[edit]

Hello. Where is the original version that it's been translated from - is it from another Wikipedia project? --McGeddon (talk) 17:23, 9 November 2015 (UTC) Here you are https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C2%AB%D0%9E%D0%BF%D0%BE%D1%80%D0%B0%C2%BB_%D0%BF%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%B8%D1%8F But don't delete it, please.[reply]

My article was deleted. I have not saved it. Where can I find the deleted (English) version?

Your recent edits[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 17:52, 9 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please stand back a little[edit]

Please relax a little. I understand that you feel passionately about things, and that is a great thing, but it isn't good to make things personal between you and other editors. I know exactly how you feel, others have felt the same way when they felt, for example, that their expertise was being questioned. What they found, though, was that they could make better progress and be a better influence on articles here when they worked within the rules.

If you will relax a little and work within the rules and processes here I think you will make an outstanding contribution here. Please do. Fiddle Faddle 17:55, 9 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'll tell you a secret. 99% of those articles in Music category, especially Vocal technique, are shit! That's why they singing wrong and can't progres. I have not found there the DIAFRAGMAL support (only BREATH support, which is secondary or even 4-5-6-dary). That the one and only crucial part in singing, it makes your throat less restrained.

Where can I find my article? I have not saved it.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Pleasetranslatemyarticleproperlyit'sveryimportantPLEASE (talkcontribs) 17:59, 9 November 2015‎

The last version of your article before it was redirected can be found here. --McGeddon (talk) 18:02, 9 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
If you would simply behave within our rules then you can, within those rules, use your expertise to make things better. Please work quietly and diligently, and understand that WP:V is a very important thing when making alterations to articles, as is WP:Consensus Fiddle Faddle 18:09, 9 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like the redirect target of Singing#Vocal technique is a better place for this information, you're welcome to add sourced information about support there, and help clean up anything that seems inaccurate. (I'm afraid I'm not a singer myself.) --McGeddon (talk) 18:24, 9 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
