While I do appreciate the points you have made, it is still clear that your only purpose in editing is to promote Bodhi Linux. Accounts which exist for promotional purposes are not permitted. (The Twickline issue is a red herring.) Perhaps it is also worth mentioning that someone who describes a person whose actions they disagree with as a "cantankerous louse on a power-trip" is on fairly weak ground when they subsequently criticise others for lack of civility. Wow! How grossly and despicably unfair it is for you to pull a comment I made ON ANOTHER SITE entirely where I didn't even MENTION WHO I WAS REFERRING TO and use that against me. First of all, what I said there is ENTIRELY outside of the scope of this discussion, and within this discussion you can find NO examples of me being rude and/or short and/or condescending. Shall I start listing the number of times I've been treated this way? And who is this "cantekerous louse on a power-trip"? YOU don't know, NO ONE who has read that comment knows, Only I and the louse in question know. Hardly what rises to the level of incivility. Just another example of a pathetic justification for what is CLEARLY an absurd decision.
And on to the subject of that clarity, which is what I came here to mention in the first place. datamation.com (highly respected IT news source) has an article about the importance of Debian and its derivatives. Guess what the ONLY distro mentioned that uses Enlightenment is? Yea, Bodhi. Yea, keep telling me it's not a notable distribution. Yea, keep all the other crummy E distros with crummy articles on Wikipedia while continuing this little pissing match to save your pride. Yea, keep telling me that the twickline thing is a red herring or a strawman or whatever you choose to call it on any given day. NOTHING was done to the article UNTIL I was mis-identified as twickline, and all you've done since is pull BS reasons to justify yourselves instead of taking a REAL look at the issues, namely that Bodhi IS notable, that my minor involvement in the community is irrelevant, and that you're short-changing the info eco-system as a whole with your stubborn stance.
Lastly, I want to mention this: Yesterday, after the latest round of "discussion" here (though a better description would me being talked-down to) I was telling my girlfriend about the situation. She's not much interested in technology, but I like to keep her up to date with what I'm doing. After I told her about this latest round, her question to me was, "Why do you always defend them?" Think about that for second: though technology is not an interest of hers, she's made note of the fact that I've always defended Wikipedia when people bash it. Ask yourself, if you were in my position, would YOU leap to the defense of Wikipedia in the future?
