Inclusion of links in navbox[edit]

Hello, OsirisV. The aim of a navbox is to ease navigation between the articles; it is not a mean of you telling the whole world how many Resident Evil novels you know about. Please do not put a link in navbox, unless that link takes reader to a unique article with the same title; section links, redirects and repetitive links chiefly deter navigation and must be kept to a bare minimum. I don't deny that under exceptional situations, the navigation may be improved by including one of those, but Resident Evil navbox is obviously not one. Orphaned non-free image File:DC1ost AlbumCover.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:DC1ost AlbumCover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Nomination of Springerdor for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Springerdor is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bagle hound until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Graham87 05:41, 14 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use images[edit]

While Wikipedia strives to be the free encyclopedia, it allows some use of fair use images for the purpose of demonstrating the subject at hand as allowed by US law. However, since these images are copyrighted, we can only use a limited number of them. As such, in articles, we may only use images that are demonstrative of something written in the text, but only if it has a strong rationale. As is, a second cover image almost never warrants inclusion unless it has received a very significant amount of critical coverage. - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Re: Anniversary[edit]

I'd say unlikely. Unless there's a substantial amount of content (at this point, it's unlikely, or at least we don't have enough content to know) and development and reception, etc., I don't think so. At the very least, we're going to be waiting a while. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs(talk) 23:46, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on NGC 3554 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited 125th Infantry Division (Germany), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nikopol (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
