I'm removing you alteration which frankly seems to follow the line the Moscow Patriarchate wants everyone to hear. It is NOT accurate and Archbishop Gabriel's letter of 20 February 2010 says everything that anyone needs to know. Truthwitness (talk) 08:13, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Bishop Antoun, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://orthodoxwiki.org/Antoun_(Khouri)_of_Miami. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. People of Levantine-Greek Orthodox Christian descent[edit]

Dear OrthodoxLinguist,

Since you seem to be a rational soul and know about the « Byzantine » (no pun intended!) subtleties of Eastern European and MENA area historical & cultural categorization, I’m writing to draw your attention on the fact that some reckless Wiki-Boeotians wants to delete the “People of Levantine-Greek Orthodox Christian descent” and the “American of Levantine-Greek Orthodox Christian descent” categories!

See this page

Your editorial help in the current « deletion debate » would be appreciated

Cordially,

Disambiguation link notification for June 4[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Elizabeth Tilley, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages William Bradford and Native Americans (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Christoforos Schuff[edit]

Hi OrthodoxLinguist I noticed you made some edits to the Christoforos Schuff page, especially the lede referring to him as a "former" Greek-Orthodox priest. But I could not find anything in the reference to that? Are there any other references you can provide for the change? Cypresscross (talk) 20:26, 17 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! He announced it on his personal Facebook page. I know Facebook isn't generally a reliable source, but I think exceptions are made for a person's personal Facebook page when it concerns the individual personally. There are also a few news articles about it in Norwegian. OrthodoxLinguist (talk) 02:59, 18 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

George V’s death[edit]

This and this is at best WP:SYNTH. To use such extreme POV language you would need (a) multiple reliable sources making that explicit accusation (not just that he speeded up the end of his life which you then give your personal interpretation of) and also (b} for it not to be WP:UNDUE, the preponderance of all sources on his death have to also conclude explicitly that it was murder. This is not the case. DeCausa (talk) 16:25, 25 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
