Welcome![edit]

Hello, Nutellatoastt, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Potential articles[edit]

  • Myth
    • I think this would be a challenge, but it's a really good one that I think we could take on. You'd need to get a good handle on the situation asap --come talk to me about this. There was a merger a few years back between this and mythology and its left the organization crazy. You'll need to make sure to be in close and careful contact with the other editors who have been working on it since then. Also, it is semi-protected, so we'll have to make sure that you are a confirmed user so that you can edit it without issue.
  • Video game industry
    • Ah, one that a few classes have gotten a hold of, which has led to some crazy things. Lots to work on here but it's also a challenge. Editor Maestro2016 has been active, but I think he'd be happy for the help.
  • Stationery
    • Hmm, I'm not sure about this one. It is formatted terribly but I don't think the overall structure is that bad. And I'm not sure what else might be done here.
  • Garden
    • The more I look at this one, the more I think it's actually a pretty good article. There are some open questions about some of the content, but it's heading in a good direction. So let's avoid messing with it.
  • Traditional animation
    • This one is the opposite of Garden -- the more I look at it, the more it seems like a good candidate for what we're doing. Needs a better lead, better organization, clearer writing.

Lots of great finds here. Some are going to be more challenging that others so take that into consideration when you pick the two you want (at the WikiEdu dash) Etherfire (talk) 04:19, 14 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
