Gen Y page[edit]

On April 2nd and again on April 3rd 2013 you blanked content from the Generation Y page and replaced it with your own version of events. Then again on April 15th, 2013 you removed referenced content on the same page after two (2) requests that you stop doing it. It could be considered vandalism according to Wikipedia policy if you continue. Media67 (talk) 17:40, 15 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Gen X page[edit]

The edits you made on April 15th 2013 to the Generation X page are erroneous and don't adhere to Wikipedia policies for the following reasons:

(1) "Strauss & Howe use "13th generation" (not the "lost" generation") as you claim. (2) Infoplease.com is not a reliable source according to Wikipedia policy. (3) The Ed Koch source has no page number. You can't just cite an entire book.

Please stop with disruptive edits and edit warring. There's an administrative process of review if you want to go there. Or start a discussion thread on the talk page before you revert edits that are properly sourced. Media67 (talk) 22:57, 15 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

There's no need to fight about this Media67. Please discuss this matter at Talk:Generation X. I don't think either of you has an intractable problem that needs to go to mediation. Just discuss the problem at the talk page and see what can be done to resolve your differences. As far as I can see it is simply a matter of correct citation style and a refinement of wording. Let's not make a mountain out of a mole hill and chill. Peregrine981 (talk) 23:24, 15 April 2013 (UTC) oh and ---[reply]

April 2017[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your edit to the disambiguation page Y8. However, please note that disambiguation pages are not articles; rather, they are meant to help readers find a specific article quickly and easily. From the disambiguation dos and don'ts, you should:

  • Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
  • Use short sentence fragment descriptions, with no punctuation at the end
  • Use exactly one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry
    • Only add a "red link" if used in existing articles, and include a "blue link" to an appropriate article
  • Do not pipe links (unless style requires it) – keep the full title of the article visible
  • Do not insert external links or references

Thank you. CHRISSYMAD ❯❯❯¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 13:52, 25 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Chrissymad. I noticed that you recently removed content from Y8 without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please do not remove the DAB again. ⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Y8-logo-medium.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:04, 28 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

May 2017[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Talk:Y8, you may be blocked from editing. CHRISSYMAD ❯❯❯¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 18:53, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Y8[edit]

I'm going to respond to you here but you need to read the policies you have been given, otherwise you're likely to be blocked.

@Noisavni: First, do not refactor anyone else's comments. I did not mean to revert your single comment when I moved mine back, however my point still stands. I purposely put mine where they were and I said as much when I moved them back. Two, do not ask for my e-mail or anyone else's, all discussion will happen on Wiki. Three, you cannot exclude anyone because of age with regard to Wikipedia nor do you own that talk page or article. I think you misunderstand what an encyclopedia is for. I do not want to see your draft on google docs, you should do so on Wikipedia as no one can tell what they are reaching consensus for otherwise. And I'll reiterate for the last time: consensus is reached through discussion not votes, which is precisely what I was doing. CHRISSYMAD ❯❯❯¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 18:04, 2 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
