Uploading

Unless something has changed, you should be able to upload a picture by clicking on "Upload File" in the "Toolbox" area - this will get you the page Wikipedia:Upload. You don't need a special user attribute to send files to the Wikipedia, I think the "Uploader" user attribute is meant for people importing databases into the Wikipedia, not just regular photos and so on. I've got an oscillogram of a 66 kV 5 MVA transformer being energized off a long transmission line but unfortunately I don't have the copyright to it, so I can't send it up here. if I try to upload, when I click on the picture-place-holder in the Inrush Article, then comes a text. "not allowed" because I have no permission to upload. Can anywhere help me?--Noinrush (talk) 08:33, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
