Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. File permission problem with File:Neelam Chandra Saxena.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Neelam Chandra Saxena.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Nikitasaxena. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Neelam Saxena Chandra, you may have a conflict of interest.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. NeilN talk to me 14:39, 25 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please read[edit]

A Wikipedia article is not a Facebook page. We do not add links to every page a subject is mentioned in. Please stop trying to turn this article into an advertisement. --NeilN talk to me 14:41, 25 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

July 2014[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Neelam Saxena Chandra. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. NeilN talk to me 14:38, 25 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

July 2014[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Neelam Saxena Chandra. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Justice007 (talk) 21:34, 25 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

No, there is no edit war. I thought that the content was lost. If this is what Wiki wants, no issues--Nikitasaxena (talk) 05:02, 26 July 2014 (UTC)[Nikita Saxena][reply]

Your edits[edit]

I see you're ignoring our conflict of interest guidelines. I will be deleting any books that seem to be self-published. --NeilN talk to me 15:30, 22 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There are no self published books by this author. All books are published by renowned publishers, the links of which are given on the goodreads page which is referenced.

[1] "Renowned publishers" - you really have no shame in your self-promotion, do you? --NeilN talk to me 16:21, 22 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

1. I think the language used is not proper. Please mind your language. You can't use words like 'shame' and all. And they are not my books, but that of an author. You have no right to use abusive language and abuse anyone.

2. The publishers of the author include Authorspress, LiFi etc which are renowned publishers in India. The author has won several awards and need not stoop to such levels as Mr Neil has stated. I am including the websites of the publication houses as well as the author.

http://lifipublications.com/

http://www.authorspressbooks.com/Index.html

http://neelamsaxenachandra.in/

3. The links of goodreads is given only because the link of publication is inbuilt in that.

Any independent reviews of these works? --NeilN talk to me 17:03, 22 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

As usually, you stretch the truth. The list contains nominees, not "most popular authors" and Chandra was not "featured". --NeilN talk to me 14:33, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you wish, the language can be changed to 'Nominated'

The name of Neelam is very much there and i am pasting the list for you to see. You can go on the orignal link and cross confirm

Being one on a list of over a thousand nominated people is hardly notable. --NeilN talk to me 16:11, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It may be one out of 1000 total persons, but it is one out of 78 authors which is notable.

And it is one of 78 authors among 1.2 billion people staying in India Nikitasaxena (talk) 16:24, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your conflict of interest and past edits show your objectivity is somewhat lacking. If you want this material included in the article, I suggest you make a proposal on the article's talk page where other neutral editors will comment. --NeilN talk to me 16:37, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
