Welcome!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Nezuji! My name is Ryan, aka Acetic Acid. I noticed that you were new and haven't received any messages yet. I just wanted to see how you were doing. Wikipedia can be a little intimidating at first, since it uses different formatting than other sites that use HTML and CSS. In the long run, though, you'll find that the WikiSyntax is a lot easier and faster than those other ways. Here are a few links to get you started:

There are a lot of policies and guides to read, but I highly recommend reading over those first. If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Please be sure to sign your name on Talk Pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, along with a link to your user page. This way, others know when you left a message and how to find you. It's easier than having to type out your name, right? :)

I hope you enjoy contributing to Wikipedia. We can use all the help we can get! Have a nice day. Sincerely, Ryan 06:19, August 5, 2005 (UTC)

Reply to your questions on my talk page[edit]

Hi, I'm about to take a wikibreak for some time, so I'm going to archive my talk page. To make sure you see my answer, I figured I'd better post it here. I think the sources you've provided so far still don't really 'prove' that the comic is self sufficient. I think there's something about this on one of our related policy pages, but it basically comes down to drawing conclusions from several bits and pieces which is, even though those bits and pieces are sourced themselves, is still original research. It still doesn't say anywhere that at this point in time, the donations that this comic artists receives monthly are sufficient for him to live on. Wouldn't it be easier to ask the comic artist (if he is the approachable type, which I gather he most likely is) to update that page to reflect his current situation? Maybe I'm too harsh, I know that webcomics and their artists are hard to write about because the type of sources we ask for are usually not the kind of sources available. I'll leave it to you now, add him to the list if you feel like these sources are sufficient together but please try to find something more unambiguous as a source. Good luck! -JoanneB 16:26, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

August 2010

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Jurassic Bark, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. -- Doniago (talk) 14:20, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Jurassic Bark[edit]

Hi Nezuji, thanks for understanding where I was coming from with regards to the unsourced mention of Jurassic Park as the name inspiration for the episode. Unfortunately, IMDB is -not- considered a reliable source for this level of information as IMDB is user-editable. I am leaving the information intact for now and have started a discussion on the article's talk page in hopes of finding a more reliable source (perhaps the DVD commentary?). If nothing can be found though, I really don't think the information will be appropriate for inclusion. Cheers. Doniago (talk) 13:28, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
