Welcome...

Hello, Myszkowiak, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

I'm sorry you find the referencing process so frustratingly complicated; it is a bit of a hassle sometimes, sad to say.

Again, welcome! Orange Mike | Talk 14:47, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 14:19, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

References[edit]

Here is a copy of my late reply to your Help desk question, in case you missed it:

To understand how to make references, see: WP:FOOT, WP:CITE (already mentioned above), and WP:CITET. In particular, WP:FOOT is our attempt to write an understandable tutorial for footnotes. If it is still not understandable, you can help by telling us which parts you don't understand. Maybe we can edit them to be clearer. On Wikipedia, ordinary users like yourself edit not only the articles, but also all the instructions for writing the articles. --Teratornis (talk) 20:48, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
