Would you like to join the Koei Warriors Games WikiProject? It is everything Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, and Warriors Orochi! To participate, add your name to the list of participants and apply {{User WPKoeiWarriors}} to your user page.

If you are not sure what a WikiProject is, it is a club of Wikipedians interested in the WikiProject's subject and helping to improve articles of or related to that subject. I saw you greatly contributed to the Samurai Warriors article, so I figured I'd ask if you wanted to participate in Wikipedia:Wikiproject/Koei Warriors Games. You do not have to, and neither are you obliged; I am just asking. -BlueCaper (talk) 23:16, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the invite but I'm not really familiar enough with the Koei games to be a productive contributor to this project. Regards. --Muchness (talk) 23:20, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Forgotten Realms

Hello. :) Since you have been involved in editing the article Forgotten Realms, I wanted to let you know that we have nominated the article for "Good Article" status. You can view the review page, and if there is anything you can do to make the article better, please do so. :) BOZ (talk) 19:38, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the heads-up. Looks like the expert D&D editors have things pretty well in hand here, I don't think there's much I can add. Good luck with the GA review. --Muchness (talk) 08:37, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
No problem! We've been on a roll lately, and got Gary Gygax, Wizards of the Coast, Dragons of Despair, and Drizzt Do'Urden up to GA within the last 4 months. :) BOZ (talk) 13:47, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

Moved from userpage

As of now, I'm trying to deactivate my account, so can you remove all or your comments on my talk page. Thanks. I don't want anything appearing on my talk page anymore. Thanks. By the way, do you know how I can deactivate my account?Cobenobo (talk) 22:16, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

(Addressed at WP:AN). --Muchness (talk) 01:35, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

thanks

thanks for chiming in on the Pop music talk page about that recently recurring "personal-essay-like" insertion - it's good to know i'm not alone. Sssoul (talk) 08:18, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

No problem :) --Muchness (talk) 11:15, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

Neverwinter Nights 2

The Good Article review for Neverwinter Nights 2 has begun! There is some work to do, but overall it looks like we're in good shape. BOZ (talk) 19:25, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for letting me know, I'll take a look when I get a moment. --Muchness (talk) 03:53, 8 May 2009 (UTC)

External links restrictions

Hello Muchness. Pruning through the history of Wikipedia:External links, I found this edit by you from over three years ago. Part of the exception you added to that criterion is now gone. It appears to me, as I attempted to explain at Wikipedia_talk:External_links#Proposed_ELNO_.232_exception, that over time, due to multiple reorganizations, your clause was lost pretty much by accident. However, observation suggests that it still largely applies in practice. But editors are refusing to accept its reinstatement in WP:ELNO. PSWG1920 (talk) 01:35, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Gosh, that was so long ago I don't recall the specifics behind my edit; the related discussion is at Wikipedia talk:External links/Archive 2#The following is ridiculously strict and I will remove it. Consensus and guidelines evolve over time and wording that was applicable in 2006 may no longer be applicable now, three years later. I actually don't agree with the wording I added back then ("a notable proponent of a point of view in an article with multiple points of view"), it just leaves the door open for too many marginal POV-pushing websites. I think the current, stricter wording is preferable, bearing in mind that WP:EL is only a guideline and consensus on a given article's talk page may determine that it's appropriate to ignore the guideline in that specific case. --Muchness (talk) 04:01, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Just letting you know that an anon removed your PROD tag. EnviroboyTalkCs 08:51, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for letting me know. If the article gets de-prodded again I'll take it to AFD; it doesn't look like a straightforward hoax, so an AFD discussion couldn't hurt. --Muchness (talk) 10:13, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Book of Vile Darkness

Hey there! Since you participated in getting Book of Vile Darkness up to GA status way back when, I'm letting you know about this thread. :) Help out if you get a chance! The D&D project is now at 21 GAs and 4 FAs, and we've been working hard all year to improve the articles under our project. BOZ (talk) 12:28, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for letting me know, and sorry about the late reply. --Muchness (talk) 13:27, 14 September 2009 (UTC)

Districts of Portugal

To comply with the request to start an RfC, I did that. See Talk:Districts of Portugal#RfC. Correct procedure is important to me. TrueColour (talk) 18:58, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

I don't know about "correct" procedure, I was just expressing an opinion about how I felt the situation might have been handled with more consideration for the editors who objected to your initial moves. At any rate, hopefully the RfC will resolve the matter amicably and to the satisfaction of interested parties. Regards. --Muchness (talk) 19:03, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Dear User:Muchness, Thank you for your consideration and effort. :)--Thecurran (talk) 12:31, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

also?

If you are nom the band, might you not want to also fold in a nom for Engine - Live As Yer Like (Video) (as well as its two albums)?--Epeefleche (talk) 19:13, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

May as well see how the AFD goes before looking at nomming these articles. --Muchness (talk) 23:51, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

Comma Splice

I've added some discussion of recent changes to the Comma splice page at Talk:Comma_splice#The_Buckley_Addition. I would appreciate your comments. Mhkay (talk) 19:04, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

Thank you for the heads up, I'll add my thoughts there. --Muchness (talk) 00:14, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

Sorry to have been slow to reply to your note yesterday. I was thinking of saying, let's just let them moulder quietly till the Engine question gets settled, but I have no quarrel with your taking them AfD. I doubt whether they have the independent notability for their own articles, even if Engine scrapes through, though I see that Live At Kent 1988 does include two other notable bands. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 22:45, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

No problem, thanks and leaving them be in the meantime might have been the best option. At any rate, there doesn't seem any harm in letting this AFD run its (probably inevitable) course. --Muchness (talk) 15:04, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

I had to undo your prod - I had already prodded the article, and the creator contested it (perfectly within his rights). Once deprodded, it can't be done again. LadyofShalott 20:36, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

Yes sorry, I just noticed it had been previously de-prodded after I'd added the prod. Will AFD instead. --Muchness (talk) 20:37, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
