Majesty edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edit on the Majesty article. Blanking image at Wikiproject CVG

Re: your edit here, the image was blanked on November 1 ([1]). According to the editor who blanked the image, "it is apparently against Wikipedia policy to include fair use images outside of the article namespace." Wikipedia's fair use guidelines appear to back this up: "[Copyrighted, unlicenced] material should only be used in the article namespace."--Muchness 00:30, 18 December 2005 (UTC)

Gond

Hi, regarding the copy and paste allegation -- the article is sourced directly from Gond's entry in Faiths & Pantheons; the article you linked ([2]) is a word-for-word transcription of the sourcebook. I tried to be exhaustive in including all the info on Gond in Faiths & Pantheons; if you feel I've erred in making the source material and the current article close enough to warrant potential copyright infringement, I'll get to work on re-wording and reorganizing the article.--Muchness 01:10, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

Hi, I was just surprised how much was added so fast, so I did a quick google search. I don't own Faiths & Pantheons myself, so I couldn't look it up in that one - ~~I'll remove the link, no need for it, if that site is just a direct transcript~~. I see you removed all the info again - in a reworked form I would have nothing against it, but as said before, I was just suspicious of the likeness of the website. No problem, you have a point that the article and source material are perhaps too close for comfort. In my defense, it's difficult to write a comprehensive article and avoid similarities when there's only one sourcebook. I'll start work on a rewrite.--Muchness 01:25, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
