Proposed deletion of Project CARS

The article Project CARS has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Project CARS

Good morning.

So, as is my habit when I'm going through NPP, I tend to check articles and what's happened if I've made edits and/or proposed deletions and such - the latter of which I did to this one. I did notice the edit in this case, suggesting that one would simply do a Google search to find relevance. As a reminder, that's not how this works - we're looking not for relevance, but notability.

To note, a quick Google search using "Project CARS" (with quotes) turns up more than 50% of results pertaining to sites that don't seem to be relevant to the game Project CARS, but are pretty well about "project cars" - that is, a car one works on as a project.

It's not to say I'm missing something, but to be perfectly frank, "just google it" isn't going to work, here, and that's one reason why. The other reason why is because the goal of Wikipedia is to consist entirely of content, in the article space, that is worthy of publication into an encyclopedia. We MUST have this information. In otherwords, you have to prove your case in the article - don't tell the reader to look for evidence, because, well, it's pretty much on the editor to come in with evidence in hand.

Given this, then, is there any way you can do what needs to be done to fix the article? I don't want to put this in articles for deletion, but if no backing evidence can be found, then I can guarantee it'll eventually wind up there. --Dennis The Tiger (Rawr and stuff) 17:21, 10 April 2012 (UTC)

This article doesn't demonstrate the subject's notability. The citations currently present are all to primary sources, and I didn't see any other coverage of the subject in reliable sources while conducting a search.
